Featuring custom pickups voiced to Yngwie's exacting specifications, stainless steel frets, and a compound radius maple neck for fluid playability, this signature Stratocaster provides the tone and performance demanded by one of rock's most influential shredders. Now available at Guitar Center, the Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster lets players of all levels emulate the speed, accuracy and tone of the master himself.
Custom YJM Fury Pickups Provide Iconic Tone
Designed by Seymour Duncan, the three YJM Fury single-coil pickups are voiced to capture Yngwie's signature tone: clear, articulate and perfectly balanced for high-speed playing. Roll back the volume control for a classic clean sound or crank the amp for screaming overdriven leads. A five-way switch provides access to neck, neck/middle, middle, middle/bridge and bridge pickup combinations for a full range of tones from warm and mellow to bright and cutting.
Maple Neck and Scalloped Fretboard Enable Flawless Playability
The Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster features a modern C-shaped maple neck for stability and sustain. A compound radius fretboard has a gradual curve, flattening out towards the higher frets for comfortable chording and effortless bends. 21 stainless steel frets have been precision-scalloped for reduced friction and enhanced feel. The result is a neck that plays fast and feels utterly seamless.
Iconic Style and Specs
With an alder body, large headstock and three-ply pickguard, the Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster has a distinctive vintage-inspired style. It features an American vintage synchronized tremolo bridge, chrome hardware, and aged plastic parts for an authentically worn-in look. Other premium specs include a brass nut, bullet truss rod nut and machine screw neck mounting for optimal tone transference and stability. A deluxe Tweed case is included, allowing you to transport and protect this iconic ax in style.
