smells...but it's so worth it!

I just got this case today in the mail. It's pretty solid and is really secure. On the outside: "epiphone" printed in gold. There are 5 locks on it, 4 on the handle side and 1 on the opposite side. The one to the left of the handle has a little hole to put a combination/key lock. On the bottom there are 4 metal pegs to make it stand (seen on the pic). There are three at the base, one by at the head, 2 on the body area. On the inside: Fits my Epi LP Jr. pretty good, a little movement up and down tho. The compartment can fit all of what I have, which are a set of guitar strings, string winder, gripmaster, tuner, fast fret cleaner, and a strap. The dimensions of the compartment are 6 x 6 x 3 inches. The good: Can fit a lot of stuff in the compartment, maybe even a mini amp. Solid design at an affordable price. The Bad: Well...not much bad stuff to say about this except that it smells...yeah it's true, not a "fresh out of the factory" smell you'd expect either. Hope this review was helpful!

i think i would take a chance on a another one

basic protection for my epi les paul, this one arrived quickly and was in factory box unopened. however when i took it out of the plastic bag and noticed the lid was loose and soon discovered the hinge on the lid was not fastened properly, the rivets were loose, so i pondered sending it back. but i figured out a way to fix it and make it look natural, i just drilled a tiny hole thru the hinge and put a small machine screw and a hex nut , and hid it under the inside liner so it looks and works great. so now i am very happy with it. mine was probably a one off cause if that happened on very many i think people would be raising cane for sure. beware but if its all put together right it is a nice case, and does the job, snug fit solid feel. yeah im good.

Bought this case for my Epiphone Les Paul Custom Blackback, and very glad I chose this one. The neck of the guitar is well supported while still keeping the headstock well off the bottom of the case. Length wise there is still at lease 1" of space past the headstock. The latches are well made and look like they will last a long time. I couldn't be happier with my choice.

  • It's a great case for my Epi Les Paul Custom!

Great entry level guitar. It is beautiful and plays smoothly with a lot of grit when needed, The seafoam green sets this guitar apart from many that are priced higher. I have a Gibson Les Paul and this epiphone plays and sounds just as good. Setup was spot on. I would not hesitate to purchase another epiphone.

It fits my Les Paul Epiphone absolutely perfect. The storage compartment is just big enough to fit my strap and my picks so I have no complaints there. I am very happy with how it turned out and the best part about it is it hold stickers extremely well. Immediately put a rocket raccoon on the case and I couldn't be happier with my decision to get my first electric and using this case to house it.

Bought a Les Paul style guitar that didn't come with a case, this fit the bill perfectly.

Will a 1999 Epiphone Del Rey double cutaway guitar fit inside this case?

Will a 1999 Epiphone Del Rey double cutaway guitar fit inside this case?

    Open Reply - Gear-Support
The Epiphone Les Paul EpiLite Case is specifically designed for Les Paul-style guitars, which have a single-cutaway body shape. Your 1999 Epiphone Del Rey features a double-cutaway design with slightly offset horns and a 24-fret bolt-on neck, making it longer and shaped differently than a standard Les Paul. Given these differences, the Del Rey may not fit securely in the EpiLite case. Length: 40.25" Upper Bout Width: 9.25" Lower Bout Width: 13" Depth: 4.13". While the Del Rey's scale length is 24.75", similar to a Les Paul, its extended neck and unique body shape may not align well with the case's contours. This could lead to insufficient support, especially around the neck and headstock areas.

I have a 2008 Epiphone Les Paul Prophecy. It's 24 frets. It is longer than my other Pauls and doesn't fit in my other Paul cases. Does this case fit the Prophecy.
