The LTD KH-602 Kirk Hammett Signature Series guitar is the affordable version of Kirk Hammett's custom ESP built for high-speed solos and chunky rhythms. Developed with the legendary Metallica guitarist, the KH-602 offers his famously aggressive tone and fast-playing feel for guitarists on a budget. The KH-602 has been crafted as an instrument worthy of Hammett's influential style.

Neck-Thru Construction Provides Enhanced Sustain

The KH-602 features a 3-piece maple neck that extends the entire length of the guitar, providing increased resonance and sustain for complex leads and power chords. The contoured alder body and 25.5" scale maple neck allow for comfortable playing during marathon practice sessions and shows.

EMG Active Pickups Deliver Bone-Crushing Tone

The KH-602 comes equipped with an EMG 60 humbucker in the neck position and an EMG 81 in the bridge, the combination that gives Kirk his signature crushing tone. The 60 provides warm, fat tone for rhythm playing while the 81 adds tight, aggressive bite for solos. A 3-way toggle switch allows for endless tonal variations from sparkling cleans to face-melting distortion.

Floyd Rose Tremolo Bridge Enables Dive Bombs and Squeals

A Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo bridge provides the tuning stability and sustain needed for Kirk's repertoire. The KH-602 stays in tune even when subjected to aggressive whammy bar use, allowing guitarists to emulate Kirk's signature dive bombs and squeals.
