Comments about Danelectro The 1964 Electric Guitar:

I've played my fair share of American-made Gibsons and Fenders over my 30 years of playing that were not nearly as nice as this instrument is. In fact, this is one of the nicest guitars I think I've ever played in my life. The only guitars that I have played that are as consistent in sound, fit, feel, and finish is Reverend. Of course, you have to want a guitar that is off the beaten path, it's not a Strat, Tele, or Les Paul. But I think more and more musicians are being drawn to instruments like this, the "other" instruments our hero's played. I own several Danelectros and they are all great instruments. Their current production is top notch. If you've ever wanted a Danelectro or a guitar like this one now is the time to get it.

Comments about Danelectro The 1964 Electric Guitar:

I own many Danelectro guitars, and they are all great. I am not sure what they are doing, but they consistently produce top-quality instruments. Perhaps it is that Danelectros were initially designed to be "budget" instruments so can be built affordably today while giving attention to detail? Not sure, but these instruments look, sound, and feel the business. If you want one, don't hesitate to get one. As a point of reference, I have been playing for about 30 years; I am a semi-professional who has released several albums, and I've owned Gibson, Martin, Fender, Guild, Reverend, etc.
