Comments about 56 Baritone:

Lightweight, great action, vintage vibe and classic tones from the lipstick pickups. When thinking about a baritone for Country and Americana, the Dani 56 Bari is the right tool for the job!

      Comments about Danelectro 56 Baritone:

I purchased this guitar NEW online, and they shipped me a USED store demo model with wear, scratches rusted strings, and no documentation. Called online and the store and no one could help resolve. I am still trying to get them to send me a brand new one so I can send the used one back but they are out of stock and as a pro musician I need this for gigs in the mean time, but they are saying I have to send it back and wait a month or two for the new one. TERRIBLE buying experience. Avoid GC and go to sweetwater. Never dealing with dishonest GC again because they wont fix their problems.

Great tool for more tone and filling the sound with a bit more base for an acoustic show

          Comments about Danelectro 56 Baritone:

I've played a lot of baritones, and this is the second Danelectro I've owned (foolishly sold the other). For the authentic baritone sound, this has it. Others sound like deep guitars but lack the jangle tone. The scale is 3 inches longer than most others, 30 inches, which poses some challenges, but it allows you to use very heavy gauge strings and tune well under B. I use a medium string and tune in A, so it lines up better with country chord progressions. Quality is good, considering the price. Fit and finish are good, hardware is fair to good. Value is exceptional. You could get a better baritone, and even with this true vintage tone, but you would have to spend a lot more money.

          Comments about Danelectro 56 Baritone:

Very happy with the guitar, especially for the price. That being said, GC shipped me the wrong guitar, not once but twice. First, in the wrong finish, then with the wrong headstock. A little more headache than I was expecting. Great guitar though.
