Open Box Bellafina Featherweight Violin Case Level 1 Black 1/8 Size

very happy with this case. i was looking for the most lightweight and decently constructed case i could find for travel. the one i ordered came with backpack straps, and also it's the lowest price and lowest weight i had found for similar items. if you are a very large frame body, the straps may not be long enough for you. also note that this case is super minimal. it is a smallish outer pocket (not big enough for standard music size books) with one inner pocket for small items , and the space around the neck. two bow holders, and that's it.

I was given an old violin from my wife's cousin's estate. The case it came in was water damaged and kind of smelly. I was looking for something that offered decent protection around the house and the VERY occasional times I might take the instrument somewhere. This does accomplishes this goal. The instrument fits in snugly and the case is more than adequete for the types of bumps and knocks it may experience around the house or on the occasional venture outside of the house. It is very light. It's not a great case? No. But it is about $30. For that price it is an excellent value, especially for a play like me whose main instrumentis the gitar and only dabbles in violin.

Actual case was of less quality. Poor lining, rough like grit paper. No suspension. Won't stay open, and zipper won't close properly! Poor handle latch. GC needs better quality control ! The lady who answered the phone at Call Center was rude as well ! I've bought many items from GC, but this time, am very upset with both the quality of the product and the customer service!

I ordered the wrong size and Doug ordered a new one. He was amazing. I would go back there in a heartbeat. Greatest customer service ever. Product was great value for the money. 5 Stars

My violin turns out to be a 3/4 but my bow is 4/4 so this case was my only choice and its great, very soft and well as seen in the pictures they provide.

Not a great case, but very decent, especially for the price. I am confident it will protect my instrument. It is very light weight. I don't care for the fabric inside, feels a bit rough. If you only need to carry one bow, don't need a lot of storage space, and don't want to spend much I would recommend it.
