I ordered this case for a kit explorer guitar based on an ESP MX-250. It fits okay with a little wiggle room, my friend has an Epiphone explorer and it fit very snug. The case lid has a little bit of flex to it, feels like it could be a little more rigid. But overall, for the price, this is decent case for an explorer.
I would buy this again for another flying v

This fit my Jackson RRX24 perfectly. I bought a second one for my daughter's Jackson JS32 rhoads. Very nice and decently priced also.

I needed a case for second Explorer guitar, so I picked one of these up again. Yes, it's the second one I've bought because I know it's a decent case from prior experience. I would have preferred the Gibson case, but it is out of stock every place I checked. The latches and hinges are on par with other cases in this price range, and it feels more solid than the Gator version of this case. The fit is also better than the Gator version (not as much wasted space at the top half of the case). Again, for the price, it's a solid investment.
Perfect fit

One of the better built cases I own. With the non standard body style guitars, it's near impossible to find a suitable case! This one exceeded expectations.
Good, entry-level Case

I didn't feel like spending over $200 and waiting until who knows when, for a Gibson Explorer case, so I picked one of these up. For the money, it's a good case. I carry my guitars with me to shows, so they are always in my vehicle, so this case does the job. I will say it feels a tad more sturdy than the Gator version of this case, and it's slightly smaller, which is a good thing given how large an Explorer case has to be. The only improvement I could wish for, is to make it tad smaller still. There's still several inches of room from the headstock to the edge of the case. Overall, for the money, I'm very happy with the case.
