Great value on heavy speaker cables

Much better quality than I expected for the price. Heavy cables with nice thick durable outer casing and heavy duty 1/4" ends. Very flexible cables. No strain relief coils at the ends but the cable itself is so thick it may not be needed.

Not the answer for home stereo....

I tried to use these with my home stereos, hooking up various amps and speaker combinations. While the wire is nicely flexible for 12 ga., my initial impression that the highs were amplified was deflated when I realized that this was due to a massive roll off of the bass! As I use straight 12 ga. for most installation and get great bass, I must assume that this quite noticeable loss is caused by the 1/4" connector, though I can't say if it is soldering and/or cheap materials. I'd return them, but, I had to cut off one end for my purposes, so, recycle bin time. I don't know how these would work in other applications, but, for home stereo, they are not the answer.

Needed to get a cable to match a cab to a Quilter, this does it. 10 feet gives me flexibility in placement and sound is improved with better placement. Not that I need to but the fat jack ends make it easier to insert and detach strain free.

I use a de Lisle Amp-Speaker Selector (actually 2 of them) with 2 Fryette PS-2's so I needed quite a few speaker cables. Thes have been great and never a failure/

The jacks fit perfectly in my cabinet merger It's important to have 12 gauge speaker cables to connect cabinets and this fits in the small can merger

Are these made with 100% oxygen free copper? What is the strand count? Are the Positive and Negative wires twisted within the casing? What is the casing made of?

No, it's not. I don't know what the strand count is and they are not twisted.

I'm new to the whole amp and cab thing. I have an orange cr120 head and I'm waiting to buy a cab. I was wanting to know if the gauge of the cable made a difference in any way?
Thanks

No, the gauge will not make a difference in your tone. 1/4 inch gauges are the universal size for all guitar and bass amps.
