If you're lucky enough to have a synthesizer with an expression pedal input - this works perfectly with a Korg Micro X. I was using an Ernie Ball stereo volume pedal with A out TR shorted, and A in connected to the Micro X. The EB is an audio taper pedal so all the action is in the last centimeter of throw. The Moog EP-3 works as it should with linear taper, gradual control over the range of throw. It has a solid feel yet won't break your foot when you drop it like the Ernie ball would. It's strong enough to be dependable with the combination plastic/steel construction.

The pedal works just fine on my 61-key Kronos II and my 88-key Krome, and the pedal itself seems to be very well constructed to handle the riggers of gigs and regular practice usage. My only concern is that the spring around the cord came out of the plug during unpacking, not even during use. That spring is designed to help with cord bending, and while I don't foresee it being a big issue, it wasn't a good start. In practice, everything works fine, and the polarity switch means it should work with just about anything that has an expression pedal input.

Comments about Moog EP-3 Universal Expression Pedal:

Use this with my EQD Avalanche Run. The pedal is well made and does what it says it does. The travel is short and rapid with little tension. So its hard to dial in the amount of effect you want at first. Takes a little getting used to.

Pedal doesn't work as expected with Line 6 M5.

Comments about Moog EP-3 Universal Expression Pedal:

I bought this to use with a Line 6 M5 Modeling stomp box. I may just be ignorant of how the pedal should work, but as it moves from heel position to toe position it goes from the minimum of a parameter through the maximum and then back to the minimum, which means I have to stop in the middle to get the maximum.

This pedal works great with my Line 6 FHFX. My pedal recognizes the full sweep and responds accordingly. Its not exactly like the built in pedal but very close. I can now have Wah and Volume in a single patch.

Comments about Moog EP-3 Universal Expression Pedal:

Great volume pedal. I'm a little leary about the cable that comes with it. Cables eventually have to be replaced anyway, so I treated this cable as a "freebie". I gave this unit 5-stars anyway because it has a switch so that you can configure it for stereo or mono operation. I was not expecting that switch and it makes a difference if you'd like to use the pedal with another keyboard.

Wish there was more finite sound adjustment, goes to louder volume over short pedal pressure, making sound adjustment in small room difficult.

Comments about Moog EP-3 Universal Expression Pedal:

I bought the pedal as a CV controller for my Peavey Tubfex. It works great, however I would have preferred that the potentiometer limit the minimum volume rather than the maximum. I may be able to modify it for that purpose though I'll continue using my Roland pedal for that and use the Moog for a wah, envelope filter controller, or to control other effect parameters. The price was very reasonable for a good quality pedal with a range control pot. Only had it a week so I can't comment on how well it will hold up.
