A Very Quality Guitar

Comments about Mitchell Element Series ME1CE Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This great looking guitar has everything one would want from an acoustic. It is a cutaway with a pickup and a built in tuner that both work superb. The guitar has a very full and loud sound, especially for its shape and size. It's very lightweight and comfortable to hold. It also has very good action and there is no buzzing in the strings. I have had this guitar for about a month, and so far the only problem I've had is not being able to find out how to replace the battery (which I haven't needed to do yet). Overall this is an amazing guitar that is very inexpensive, it was a great buy.

Comments about Mitchell Element Series ME1CE Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Well, I sure thought that I had a very good quality, affordable guitar. I was in love with it's striking good looks and feel when I first got it. The entire guitar screamed Taylor. The neck profile was as close to a Taylor's neck as you will ever feel. I always struggled with tuning the GB and E strings, could never get them quite right. When I brought to Guitar Center to have them take a look they noticed the neck was twisted. I had to return it. There weren't any others in stock so I left empty handed. I don't know if this was a problem with others or if it was just the one I ended up with. I would like to try another to see if it did the same.

Comments about Mitchell Element Series ME1CE Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I never heard of the Michelle line before, but I have to say, I'm really happy that I decided to stopped by the local GC before purchasing the Alvarez AD60CE I wanted.

I was looking at all of the brand name acoustic electric guitars in the sub $400 pricing and I was about done when the manager came up and suggested that I look at the ME1CE. Mitchell? Nope, but thanks, I am sticking to the name brands I grew up knowing. Not being pushy at all, she started telling me everything about the ME1CE and explained it had a build very similar to the Alvarez, even in quality. Looking at the price of $230 (on sale, $350 reg.), I thought BS, but I started to notice how striking the guitar was and my curiosity took me further. After playing it a little, I was like wow, it sound better than I ever expected and bonus points, it's very light.... really getting my attention now. Well, my last test to see if this guitar was really something to be considered, was to ask another customer (guitarist) looking at Martins to play 2 guitars for me while I had my back to him. I gave him the Mitchell and a $700 Taylor and he started to playing, going back and forth per my request, giving me a great side by side blind sound test. When I turned around to see which guitar was which, being very pleased with both guitars, but actually liked the tone from the ME1CE better!

I was sold when the guy playing the guitars for me had the same expression on his face as he gave it back to me. Wow $350, it sounds really good and I like the feel!!!

I took it home right then and couldn't be happier. Quality sound, build and overall feel, matching guitars at twice the price.

Thanks GC for the help and showing me the acoustic electric I was looking for but didn't even know about.

Comments about Mitchell Element Series ME1CE Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This was the only guitar that spotted my eye when browsing the showroom floor for a new acoustic. The light wood tones and clean finish make this acoustic look so natural. Light weight and great for taking to the beach. The electronics are so sleek like cooking on a electric countertop and the push screen tuner is pretty sweet. Bright loud sound that fills the room and the fish love it. Hashtaghashbrown

Comments about Mitchell Element Series ME1CE Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Tried several guitars, this one stuck out. Looks amazing with the flame (maple?) wood binding, sapele back / sides (similar to Mahogany), and a beautiful solid spruce top with scalloped bracing. Fret leveling could use a little work (some buzzing above 12th fret at random, a few frets) out of the box but the action is great and I'm sure a good setup will fix it. Sounded better to me than a Martin X series, two Washburn, and two Ibanez acoustics I tried.

Haven't tried the preamp yet, but it's a new Fishman design with B/M/T controls and tuner. I'm sure it's great.

            Astounding for the price.
