Powerful & Portable

The Mesa/Boogie Subway bass head packs more than enough power to handle any size venue, whether indoors or out. Weighing in at a light 6.3 lb, it’s almost hard to believe that it delivers 800 watts. Whether it’s solo or with a big band, the Subway D-800+ makes sure the bass is always present.

Expanded, Sweepable EQ

Featuring an enhanced EQ section compared to the Subway D-800, the D-800+ delivers crystal-clear tone for practically any style. The thoughtfully designed EQ gives players an intuitive control interface for an immersive playing experience.

Sub-Low Control

The Mesa/Boogie Subway D-800+ bass head brings out the fullness of deep bass tone with an included High-Pass filter. This provides excellent articulation, response and headroom for signals from 30Hz to 150Hz, and also protects speakers from getting blown out.

I've been committed to GK for 40 years. It had to be and is just that great for me to switch to Mesa Subway D-800+ to support my collection of different brands of bass guitars. Incredibly intuitive and a powerhouse of full punching bass for over 2 1/2 hours of Ten96 hard hitting rock n roll. Not even luke warm. I'm ecstatic!!!

  • Awesome little tone monster

Awesome little tone monster, right out of the box. All controls set to flat, no pedals yet: Wowza. I'm happy.

Mesa's review video says that this amp comes with a travel bag with purchase of the unit. Is this true when purchasing through GC?
