Amazing 'Bang for the Buck' in a Martin D-28

If you are considering a higher end Martin guitar, you seriously need to check out Martin's Modern Deluxe model line of guitars! Their D-28 Modern Deluxe (MD) model is a great sounding Martin dreadnaught being very articulate in the bass, mid-range and treble areas, and plays easily with a neck profile designed specifically for the Modern Deluxe model line of guitars. My local G.C. had one on the wall and after playing various Taylor's and other Martin's, played just a few songs on the D-28 MD and was blown away by the sound. I played the D-28 Modern Deluxe comparing the sound to both a standard Martin D-28 and also a Martin HD-28. Although sounding close with subtle nuances, I ended up preferring the sound and playing ease of the D-28 MD having added features over the standard models. The D-28 MD looks like an HD-28 in its construction w/scalloped bracing, sounding like an improved Martin HD-28 that is lighter and more comfortable to play, while having slightly more sustain and note separation, IMO. I believe the Modern Deluxe line of Martin guitars may be the 'best bang for the buck' having many upgraded custom features over other guitars in their price range. Although expensive, it's much less than the cost of a D-41, D-42 etc. Definitely worth checking out, especially with the advantage of extended financing. Absolutely, no regrets...

At first I wasn't sure how I felt about this guitar, but it grows on me everyday. When I pick it up I feel like I'm holding something really special. I bought an Eastman E20D-MR-TC at the same time and it is more of what I expect from a spruce and rosewood guitar. I'm not sure how to describe the difference between the two, but I would say that the Martin is less crisp or punchy, but richer in tone. #sweepstakes

The smell is wonderful - the East Indian rosewood, spruce and maple components blend into a bouquet fragrance that I inhale with great pleasure every time I take it out of the excellent hard shell case! The workmanship is flawless and the sound is divine! An instant Martin classic!

I Purchased July 6th 2022. D-28 is very easy to play from low tones to rocking jams. - I am so impressed that I am on the waiting list for Martin HD12-28 12 string. Guitar neck was set up for correct action on strings but I found that it takes 4mm wrench for any adjustments in the future. Most Martins take 5mm. Now all I have to do is figure out how to get this D-28 over to the next life.
looks don't match sound

this thing plays, feels, sounds amazing. smelled awful when I pulled it out of the box but thats probably just that fish glue funk. this thing looks too plain for the price tag but it sounds absolutely amazing.
It's a Martin D28 with some bling.

I bought one of these from guitar center and it had hundreds of pick marks and scratches on the back from belt buckles. I returned it. My question is how can I buy one from you that has absolutely no pick marks or scratches. 4000 dollars is a lot of money for a scratched guitar.
