The Martin Custom Shop Special D28 Dreadnought Bearclaw Sitka-Wild Grain East Indian Rosewood acoustic guitar is crafted from hand-selected woods—premium bearclaw Sitka spruce for the top and wild grain East Indian rosewood for the back and sides—by the teams at Martin and Guitar Center. While the Special D28 delivers the historical look and basic sound of vintage Martins, its forward-shifted X bracing produces a voicing with enhanced bass response, and the modified low-oval neck profile and high-performance taper offer outstanding playability. Other appointments include antique-white binding, a polished wild grain rosewood head plate with CFM logo, East Indian rosewood side strips, diamonds and squares fingerboard inlays and nickel, vintage-styled Grover machine heads.

    Looks, feels and plays like a Martin Custom Shop guitar should. Fit and finish are spectacular. Sounds big and bright — an absolute joy to play and own.
