Great little amp! Don't have to break ear drums to get that awesome 70's and 80's sound. Throw it in the truck and go jam.

Always wanted a genuine Marshall in a lower power rating and it is now available! All tubes, with that classic Marshall crunch. I bought the JCM version because it has the master control to keep overall volume under control in my home studio. Sounds it's classic best at the standard 20w using the high input jack. Lots of thump and brown-sound midrange. For clean sounds you must use the Low input jack. Yes, it would be nice to to be able to footswitch between the two, however this amp holds true to the original design, so I get that. At the 5w setting the tone sounds far away and distant like a mic placed in the next room. Ok for bedroom volume only. Left off one star rating just because the effects loop is simply on/off, instead of variable. Chorus effects in the loop have a low hum, while others are normal. You will need a reverb pedal in the loop at some point. My reverb pedal is totally happy here, no hum. Also, it would have been nice if they included a slip cover. Overall, this amp sounds just like the NAMM 2019 videos - check it out!

A DI output is for connecting directly to your board.
