Nice stool. Recommend, Assembly is a pain. DON'T USE THE LONG SCREWS for the round base. Use the medium ones. The instructions don't advise and the picture may be different than your stool. Long screws align with the sleeve, but it is WRONG. Use the medium ones and widen the ring by tightening, process will be smoother and faster and you won't strip your screws or blister your palm. Little wrench sucks too. Use a real wrench it you have.

This was the hardest thing to put together. I have built actual guitars, this was difficult. The metal legs needed to be pulled apart which was difficult when trying to put together alone, the swivel part is not as strong as it should be and the metal bent as I tightened it, which it said to tighten as much as you can, the bending caused the ends of the bolts to be too long and they hit the bolts that go into the cushion part causing it to swivel less than it should. Over all it is a very nice stool, just a pain to get together properly. As a note to those who plan on building one, knowing which screw goes where would have saved me more than half the time. The medium screws go from the legs to the ring, the long ones go from the legs to the swivel, and the short ones go from the swivel to the cushion.

Comments about Marshall 24 in. Swivel Barstool:

I managed to get this stool on sale for 60% off the regular price. It was the last one they had in the store, so it was already assembled which was a bonus! Super light and easy to carry around. It's very attractive and comfortable to sit on for long periods of time. This was a no-brainer for me.

Comments about Marshall 24 in. Swivel Barstool:

It's a great little stool but the directions for assembly are laughable. I put a similar stool together no more than a week before I got this one and the directions are SO incredibly bad, I still had to take it apart and put it back together. They just don't tell you which screws to use where so you are basically rolling the dice on the first step and if you choose the wrong ones (which I obviously did), you'll need to take it apart and reassemble. How difficult is it to tell the buyer which screws to use where in the directions?!?!

Comments about Marshall 24 in. Swivel Barstool:

So, I purchased this bar stool to complete the "Marshall" brand items I already own. Although it looks really cool, once assembled, it was a royal pain in the "neck". The instructions are very very minimal and fail to provide direction in regards to where each of the three diff size bolts go... I'd imagine that if you have three different people assembling it, you may end up with three different ways.

Comments about Marshall 24 in. Swivel Barstool:

A big thanks to my Brothers/Sisters for the excellent assembly tips in your reviews on Guitar Center!! The instructions are sketchy; however, knowing the medium screws go from the legs to the ring, the long ones go from the legs to the swivel, and the short ones go from the swivel to the cushion allows for a painless first time assembly. Furthermore, the metal legs needed to be pulled apart to meet the foot ring/rest which is not difficult if you have a helper ie., one person steps on the leg that is resting on the floor and pulls the other end/leg to meet the foot ring which is facing up towards you; your helper puts in the screws and tightens… no-fuss no-muss. Repeat for the other leg. Everything else can easily be done with one person. Thank You!

This is a pretty good guitar stool for the price range. Nice looking overall. Was a little difficult to assemble because the instructions weren't clear, and shims (provided) had to be used to get the legs even.

I managed to put it together in about 10-15 minutes. The legs have to be pulled to get them set against the ring but once you get the bolts threaded it's not difficult. It's stable and feels like it'd last forever. The rubber feet like to come off of the legs. With the thick seat on it(not well padded either) it sits pretty high and you have to have a foot rest to feel supported.
