If you're into online radio/podcasts, buy this mic. The mic has awesome clarity and is easy to install. I am very pleased with this product.

This mic is the best mic i've ever used. It was only 100 bucks but you get a lot more for what you pay for. This mic has very high quality and its easy to use because there are no pre amps or phantom power needed, just plug into your computer and start recording. I've seen reviews of this mic and people saying it sounded like AM radio, don't believe because if you're on a tight budget, and don't want to spend a lot of money, i recommend this mic right here to anybody, not just beginners, the equipment doesn't make the artist.

I am in broadcasting and I do a lot of on location stuff using my laptop. I got the MXL 990 USB Stereo Mic and simply plugged it in and I was ready to go. The sound quality is excellent and the ease of use is even better. If you're looking for a great mic for podcasting or recording, the MXL 990 USB Stereo mic is the one you need.

I received this mic a little over a week ago and have been blown away with the quality of the recording I've been able to do with just plugging it in to the USB port and Audacity (free recording software). When I used this on a Skype call my friend heard a helicopter in the background. I highly recommend this Mic to anyone looking for a quality mic at a fair price.

The shipping was fast as always, but I have to say I was a little disappointed when I actually opened the box. First I tried setting up the tripod and the legs of the tripod cracked the plastic base as soon as I tried to adjust the legs ever so slightly. Also, the base of the microphone (where you attach the microphone to the stand) was also falling apart when I tried to disassemble the microphone and pack it away. The USB connection was easy to use as expected. I tried downloading the free microphone software from the website and for some reason my laptop crashed for the first time; I had to do a system restore to return my laptop to normal. I ended up using just the sound recorder program on my laptop and it seems to work fine. The sound recording is fine, but a little different than what I had expected initially buying the microphone

Using this product for simple audio recordings and needed a solid mic for a decent price. Does great. no adjustments with the product, does not really need them.
