Its very compact size makes it ideal for on-the-go use, but whether you're in the studio, the classroom, the office or the bedroom, this 3" diameter drum can be played by anyone, anywhere, regardless of skill. Thanks to a pre-tuned scale, there are no wrong notes to play. A wooden mallet with a rubber head is also included.

    So I was killing time at GC. I always check out their latest acoustic guitars in the acoustic room. Play a few makes...do some Pink Floyd on one or all of them..then walk the rest of the store. I went to the percussion room in memory of my little brother, Jake, who played drums for a band that he and I were in back in the day. Jake died in 2003 from a drug overdose. Missya, brother. Since I was emotional that day, I picked up this little steel tongue drum..hit a couple notes...and my soul was soothed again. Like King Saul was soothed when David played his harp for him. The little drum left the store with me that day. ...and I smiled.
