    I am a guitarist/ukulelist so I play hi-hats only by foot (I don't beat the tambourine with a drumstick). I use it for some songs when just the hi-hats sound would be too dry. This Meinl tambourine adds elegant sparks. To be noted that the volume is not loud so you need to have dynamic foot playing. For this use, I am happy to have chosen the double row tambourine.

    Tried the basic single sided silver high-hat jingle and ended up exchanging it for this one. Absolutely worth the extra money and time for delivery. Nice rich tone (not dry) and decay is just want I was looking for.

    I love these !! sound very organic...I listen to these thru my headphones and they sound like part of a record. :)
