Great Little Drum

Comments about LPM198 Mini Tunable Wood Conga:

This drum is excellent when your on the road or as a gift for a friend. Surprisingly good tone and a solid model. Highly recommended for a begginer or professional. This drum is great for kids just starting out. Its a steal for around 40 dollars.

Comments about LPM198 Mini Tunable Wood Conga:

First, let me say where i am coming from. My main stereo set-up includes the Magnepan 3.7is with massive powered subwoofer, all powered by McIntosh amps. My taste in music is from Classical to Pop-Rock.
I auditioned many brands of monitors for my office, which is 14X12 feet. I listened for several days at several audio dealers. For me, the price was a secondary consideration. I wanted a clear, great sound, with a balanced bass. The Yamaha HS8's won out. Close your eyes and listen...and you will know too.

Placement is critical. You back them away from the wall slowly to get the sweet spot, and you can adjust
the room acoustics on the back of the speaker. The HS8s have it all, including great bass, and I have canceled my sub-woofer. For me, the HS7 and HS5 were a far cry from the HS8s, especially in the low end. These speakers are a pleasure to listen to, and in the end, it's all about the 'experience'.
