Kramer Focus VT-211S Electric Guitar Purple

This guitar is AMAZING! It has a beautiful and shiny Stratocaster body that I love. Although most of the reviews said there was no fret buzz, I was still a bit suspicious that it would have maybe just a bit, but to my surprise, there was ZERO fret buzz! None at all! Through an amp with no pedals, it has a punchy sound that no other guitar that I've had can replicate, but when you add distortion, MY GOSH does it sound heavenly! Usually, clean guitars don't sound too loud compared to when you add effects, but this guitar has a great volume balance between clean and with effects! I'm definitely buying another one of these someday! 11/10 Would recommend!

I'm an experienced player and I do all of my own luthier work. I wanted the pewter gray, so I bought it. I ordered a new one, I was sent a floor model. It needed a lot of love to get it right. The action was way too high, fretboard was dirty and dry, fret sprouts and dirty frets. Guitar Center had a good return policy but they gave me a credit for keeping it. I put in the work and now it's a good player. I wish I could tell you how it was out of the box! Worst case scenario you can always return it if you get one and it needs work.

Yeah, tuners are quite bad & hard to turn. Otherwise, it's great! Gibson(Kramer's owner) REALLY needs to switch to modern sealed tuners. Mine has perfectly level frets and zero fret sprout.

The intonation was excellent. I lowered the saddles for better action. This guitar has a lightweight mohahony body, so it sounds warm and pretty on the clean side of my guitar amp and unplugged, so if you are looking for the twang sound, you will only get minimal twang. I bought two of these guitars, one to practice and not change the strings very often, and one to only play live venues with my fresh sounding and long lasting coated strings. So now I very seldom need to change guitar strings. This guitar sounds very good to my ears and the neck is slightly slimmer and smoother than most guitars. It comes with a Gibson Lifetime Warranty. I now enjoy playing the guitar every day. That is important.

I have a Rogue Rocketeer RR200GB. It sounds a little muddy and not so clear and articulate. This Kramer Focus is a better sounding guitar than a Rogue Rocketeer or Fender Squire Sonic. The Alnico 5 pickups and mohahony body make this guitar sound as good as some Fender Mustangs and Telecasters. It stays in tune fairly well with the stock tuners. Perfect paint. The neck is slightly slimmer than a Stratocaster, but not as slim as my Rogue RR200. The Kramer Focus is a big name brand. It is made by Gibson and is covered by a Gibson Lifetime Warranty. I will be using my Kramer Focus electric guitar at all of my live venues.

Out of the box it was decent, but fret sprout was bad, and needed some leveling also to achive low action. After i did the work it was very nice, and pickups sound good for what they are, but are a little microphonic due to not being wax potted, but overall i still recommend this.
