The Starliner Express from Kauer Guitars is reminiscent of some of the legendary rock and roll guitars to come out of the golden era of Kalamazoo-built instruments. A simple slab body of high-quality Spanish mahogany with a thin-skin finish for warmth and resonance is wed to a matching Spanish mahogany neck with a 22-fret wenge fingerboard for a classic pure tonewood experience.
