Forward by the composer: The reqyest by Graham Wade for a new work for Guitar followed closely on the death of Sir William Walton, whose Bagatelles for Guitar I admire greatly. The resulting pieces are intended as a tribute to Walton and I have tried to capture something of the character of the composer and his music.
