Comments about Jensen C12K 100W 12" Replacement Speaker:
Although the speaker tone has slightly more treble than the original, this is easily manageable by turning up the bass eq two notches on the twin amp. Having said this, the speakers performed great at low and high volumes in my recent maiden voyage with them at a Festival where many bands were playing. I wanted to thank Guitar center and the Italians who manufactured them. Brian Ream

Put this in my Fender Blues Deluxe and it sounds great. Also put one it its extension cabinet. Very well-rounded. Great highs, mids and lows.
Comments about Jensen C12K 100W 12" Replacement Speaker:
ordered 2 speakers and installed them in my older tuck and roll twin speaker cabinet (total cabinet weight 34 pounds) 1st amp tried was my 1967 Roberts stereo tube amp and from bottom end to crisp highs the speakers didn't miss a lick. 2nd amp tried was marshall 100 watt head and using serial connection cable the speakers covered all the bandwidth of the guitars sound and almost couldn't be overdriven even with many guitar loop tracks at the same time. 3rd amp tried was the fender 100 watt solid state amp and It was just like old home with juicy blues to heavy metal. the c 12 k speaker is a full sound without being louder (even the drummer agreed that he sounded smaller) the jensen c12k speakers work well and help make my other (celestion eminence sun) speaker cabinets sound better. Product craftsmanship is excellent and out of the box a fine italian product.
Comments about Jensen C12K 100W 12" Replacement Speaker:
When my reliable 100W 1970 Twin started sounding rough, I suspected it was time to check out my stock Fender/Jensen speakers. Hooked them up to a frequency sweep generator and sure enough, they were in bad shape. The cones were degraded and the coils pitted, and so I decided I would upgrade the speakers, understanding my amp would no longer be "stock" (by re-coning the original Fender/Jensen speakers). Wired in the new C12K speakers and when I cranked up my amp, I was SO glad I upgraded. The tone is simply awesome, from the low bass tone I want for those sweet blues chords to outright monster highs for rock power chords/lead solos. Even with distortion in high gear, these speakers perform consistently throughout the frequency band. And, with the power rating of the C12K, I don't have to fear blowing them up, something I was a little nervous about with Jensen's C12N speaker upgrade recommendation for twins. Upgrade to this speaker; you will NOT be disappointed!

sounds like days of old in my Fender Deluxe Reverb, I love it
Comments about Jensen C12K 100W 12" Replacement Speaker:
I purchases this as a replacement speaker for a 64 deluxe reverb. the original speaker had been re-coned years ago and sounded pretty flabby. The C12K dropped right in and tightened up the sound. The speaker does require some break in time, but sounds better each time I sit down with it. Highly recommended. Sounds great in my old blackface amp.
