Comments about Jackson JS3VQ JS Series Concert 5-String Electric Bass Guitar:

What can I say? I love this bass! It has great feel, fantastic construction, and wonderful tone! However, I'd recommend this to solely rock/metal players due to not the looks, but the sheer aggression in the tone of this bass. One thing I'd recommend doing is to switch your strings when you get it because the strings you get on this bass don't really sound great when played. Switch to strings with a more "Expressive" feel. 10/10. Love Jackson.

Comments about Jackson JS3VQ JS Series Concert 5-String Electric Bass Guitar:

      MY BACKGROUND
Hey there fello bassists, I've been playing the bass for over 8yrs for my church... I started with a Blue Ibanez and after playing with it for about 4yrs i decided it was time for an upgrade. I currently have another type of the Jackson bass and is a 4 stringer but after playing I felt it was time to go for a 5 stringer, now I walked in to a Guitar Center and I just grabbed the first 5 stringer I saw and I just plugged and played as soon as I heard that clear crisp bright tone I knew it was a Jackson Bass...

      MY REVIEW
This bass has 5 pots 2 for the pickups (humbucking) and 3 for the EQ. The frettboard is a double scale (2 full acales in one board) making the neck a little bit longer than usual. The pickups are very good and they catch the simplest of presses. I've played with different basses (ibanez, warwick, etc) throughout my music years and my favorite basses are Fenders and Jacksons, and I might not be a hardcore professional but I have my fair bit of playing experience and let me tell you this bass is a definite winner in my books! I recommend this to anyone, beginner or experienced!
