Jackson JS Series Spectra Bass JS3 Silver Burst

Description
Jackson's JS Series Spectra Bass JS3 is designed to inspire creativity. This 4-string bass features an offset poplar body with an oversized upper horn that evenly distributes weight, providing a balanced feel for hours of playing comfort. The bolt-on maple neck and 12"-16" compound radius laurel fingerboard facilitate fast, accurate fingering across the length of the 34" scale. The Spectra Bass JS3 produces massive low end courtesy of its dual Jackson humbucking pickups.
Sculpt Your Sound with the 3-Band EQ
The Spectra Bass JS3's active 3-band EQ provides tonal control over the lows, mids and highs, allowing you to boost or cut frequencies to achieve your desired sound. When the battery dies or you prefer a more straightforward setup, simply pull up on the volume knob to bypass the active circuit and utilize the bass's passive tone circuit. The push/pull volume knob makes switching between active and passive modes a breeze so you're always ready to play.
Power and Versatility United in the Pickups
The Spectra Bass JS3's dual Jackson humbucking pickups deliver a bold, growling tone that cuts through the mix. A two-way toggle switch allows you to split the coils of each pickup for a brighter single-coil tone when desired. Whether you need an aggressive rock tone or a vintage-inspired sound, the Spectra Bass JS3's pickups have you covered.
Rock-Solid Sustain and Intonation
The Jackson HiMass bridge provides exceptional stability and improved sustain. Its adjustable saddles allow for precise intonation so your Spectra Bass JS3 will play in tune all the way up the fretboard. The HiMass bridge's solid construction also helps transfer string vibration to the body, enhancing resonance.

Wanted to pick up a bass for my recording studio to have available for any musicians to join in. As it turns out I'm really enjoying playing it myself.

Looks pretty, very light. The electronics, hardware, are 100% to my liking. The only small issue was the bridge, very bulky and big even height wise, so lowering my saddles all the way when setting it up was a slight problem but was fixed after replacing it with a GOTOH bass bridge.

I gig in medium to large clubs, the tones are great and holds their own. I bought this as a backup but it's become my main baby, I play hard classic rock type of music but this bass could be used for any genre of music.
