Overview

Hold down the low end with the CBXNT V, a highly versatile bass designed for one express purpose bringing the thunder to your music. Upgraded electronics, classically brutal style and fast, efficient playability make this entry into the lineup a fundamental force to be reckoned with. Perfect for metal or other styles that demand low, punchy bassthis instrument is an unbelievable value.

The heart of this beast is a pair of noise-free Jackson High Output Humbucking Bass pickups mated to an active 3-band EQ circuit, adding punch, cut, rumble or grunt to your soundshaping it with razor-sharp precision before it ever hits an amplifier. A Jackson HiMass bridge enhances note attack and sustain without altering your carefully crafted tone while the sealed die-cast tuning machines keep the strings in tune, no matter how hard you dig into them. The one-piece neck-through-body design generates formidable sustain while the Speed Neck contour and 12-16 compound radius rosewood fingerboard make for lightning-quick playability.

Jacksons darkly elegant aesthetics cap off this bass black hardware, pearloid sharkfin inlays and the famous Pointed 5-In-Line headstock create a look thats simultaneously classic and current. The latest in technical bass innovations, the CBXNT V is the perfect weapon for the musician who requires nothing less than the latest in high-performance bass technology.

Comments about Jackson CBXNT V 5-String Electric Bass Guitar:

55 year old, 40 years of playing in cover bands. Currently gigging in a Country band and an 80"s rock band. I have played most major brands and can tell quality when I see AND feel it. I have a Carvin USA 5 string and a G&L L2500 5 string. I bought this because I needed something that "looked" more 80"s. Ordered on line and picked up at the local GC. Very surprised at the playability and set-up out of the box. The action was pretty good. Fret dressing was nice. I bought the white one and the finish was flawless. Plugged it in and was surprised again! You can get a lot of tones out of this bass. Each pickup has it's own volume knob and three more for Treble, Mid and Bass. Easy to dial up whatever tone you want. The only negative I could find is that it is prone to "neck-diving" because of the long headstock. It's a 5 string so no fixing that. I'm actually thinking of getting another in black. For this quality you can't beat the price!

Comments about Jackson CBXNT V 5-String Electric Bass Guitar:

I have been playing yet only a year with this bass and many people I play with say I play like a very experienced bassist. This bass was my first bass I picked up and is a very maneuverable bass and easy to play. Very good for its price, one con holds me back from this guitars full potential. Fret buzz. With the switches on the bass I find it very cool you can adjust BASS, MID, and TREBLE on the guitar while playing. The bass is for some what heavy due to its internals and anount of wiring. One thing that comes costly with this bass is it's batteries. Batteries aren't that much buts it's a hassle to keep getting some over and over. Overall this bass is a very profitable and fun bass. Cheers and thanks if you read this.
