Bought two JBL EON ONE. I love the sound quality, compact design, and power. The speakers are very easy to setup, carry, and use. The tower can be used with the two spacers provided, with one, or no spacer. This will give you the height you need for the mids and highs. The integrated mixer has reverb for both mic channels. You can use a balanced or unbalanced input as the mixer has an XLR/1/4 combo input. It also has a mini-plug to connect any audio device. The Bluetooth is easy to pair with any Bluetooth capable device. This input does not have a volume knob. The volume for this input will need to be adjusted on the Bluetooth device or the master volume knob on the integrated mixer.
One down side is that the speaker does not have an XLR through signal output to connect other powered speakers in series. It does have a monitor output with RCA connectors that can be used to connect another JBL EON ONE. However, if you need the benefits of an XLR cable then you will need an RCA to XLR adapter. I connect channel 1 to one speaker and channel 2 to the other speaker from my equipment rack using XLR connections. Other than that, the sound quality and power is impressive!!! I walked into the store wanting to buy the BOSE L1 system. After listening to both, I quickly made my decision. You won't regret getting the JBL EON ONE. Very crisp highs, clear mids, and powerful lows with no distortion.

Pros: Sounds good at a distance. Louder than the Bose L1 Compact. Wheels on the case.

Cons: All highs at close range, just like the Bose L1 Compact. Monitor out is Post Main Volume (wth?). Gotta purchase the protective cover. Does NOT assemble/disassemble very well at ALL.

It sounds great from the crowd, but part of the allure is supposed to be using it as a monitor, as well. It's better than the Bose, but it still sounds "tinny" at close range behind you. Also, who makes a monitor out Post Master??? How am I supposed to get more monitor without turning up the unit? Assembly/Disassembly is DANGEROUS! Seriously! My cohort smacked himself in the head trying detach one of the risers and ended up at the hospital! I'm not kidding! Plus, I had to spend ANOTHER $129.99 to get a bag on wheels? Dollar for dollar, the Bose L1 Compact has this beat, IMO. The only thing better is the volume and the low end....and even that's marginal. If you need more volume, buy another L1 Compact.

Comments about JBL EON ONE Linear-Array PA System with 6-Channel Mixer:

I do an acoustic solo act. Martin guitar, Fishman Tone DEQ, Sure SM58. Complete professional tone. Better tones that some national act systems I have been pushed onto over the years. Good for an indoor room with 100 or less people. Will need 2 if you want to be dominant in a room with more that that. Nice light compression when you hit the power amp limit. Perfect piece. Thank you JBL. Will be buying another one soon.

Comments about JBL EON ONE Linear-Array PA System with 6-Channel Mixer:

I have used the Bose L1 model 2 for a few years and I was never real happy with the overall frequency range of the system. It just never sounded very crisp but a bit boxy(if that makes sense). I use a separate mixer just to give me more channels and I found myself over EQing the system just to get it to sound decent.
I bought the EON Linear array yesterday and used it last night with my trio and I was very happy. It sounded great once I got the gain structure balanced. At first the signal I was sending from my board to the EON was a bit too hot so it was peaking. Once I leveled that it was perfect. Im actually going to buy a second one today. The only compliant I have was the tower sections were really difficult to put together and take apart. I felt like I could damage the connectors with the amount of force needed to get them together and apart. I my try just a touch of lubricant on those sections to make it easier.

Comments about JBL EON ONE Linear-Array PA System with 6-Channel Mixer:

I have been in a Southern Gospel Group for 42 years. I have worked with sound equipment longer than that. Our Group cam alive with this system. In churches up to 700 seats this system is perfect. Best Bass singer system ever for the money. If you need it louder get 2. We sing with tracks every nuance is heard. Is it the best system out there? I simply couldn't say. Its better than the old Voice of the Theater's we use to use years ago that's for sure. Better tone and better bass. Is it audiophile? Getting awfully close at our volume level which is tame compared to a Rock venue. Dispersion is excellent and you get the highs and the lows. Unlike well, you know.

Comments about JBL EON ONE Linear-Array PA System with 6-Channel Mixer:

(40+ years sound pro, also event & dance DJ). The Eon One has a very clear, balanced, almost hi-fi sound with surprisingly extended lows (better than my Eon 515XTs) for having only a 10" woofer in a relatively small cabinet (shared by the amp and mixer). It has amazingly good volume even in a medium sized venue with about 100-150 people spread out, especially if the music is not heavy with low bass and it sits on the floor or in a corner for reinforcement. The dispersion seems much wider than claimed (although specific frequencies vs spread are not listed), and the drop in volume over distance is between that of conventional speakers and true line arrays. Having only six 2" mid/high drivers splayed vertically allows it to have a better vertical sound spread allowing for more versatile placement (on floor, or stage, or below a balcony), unlike other popular line arrays having upwards of 10 drivers which have almost no vertical spread past the length of the column- meaning you have to position the speaker in line with the listeners ears. So it's design is probably the best compromise on the portable line array market today of price, compactness, carry-ability, weight, volume output, frequency response, dispersion, number of inputs and controls, Bluetooth capability, and ease of setup and column height flexibility. JBL- it would be nice to offer a slip on protective cover and a small 12" light weight (35 pound) active subwoofer with RCA inputs (to match the RCA monitor outputs on the Eon One) as accessories. All in all, it's a great speaker system suited for a wide variety of uses, thanks JBL!

Comments about JBL EON ONE Linear-Array PA System with 6-Channel Mixer:

I do DJ work, karaoke and LIVE music. I plug my non-powered mixer into the main channels of the unit and I am ready to roll. Add in the capability of bluetooth and I can keep the party going from anywhere in the room! I have been doing karaoke for 20 years and carrying all the equipment has been a back breaker. Now, instead of 7 trips back and forth to the car I only have 3. And the setup time? No more setting up 2 speaker stands and mounting the speakers, finding a place to put the amp and stringing the speaker cables ..... open the Eon case, put the sound pole up, plug into the outlet and cable my mixer to it and I am set up in no time! Have used this unit for 2 gigs already and I am sad. Sad that it took me so long to buy this INCREDIBLE unit! One word .... AWESOME!

This unit was sold and described as superior to the Bose Compact system. If this is true then Bose should immediately discontinue production of the compact unit. This unit could not fill a room with 40 people. People in the back of the 30 ft room said the volume was low even when the volume was at max. setting on individual channel and master. I regret this purchase. Ignore the specs. This unit will NOT function as advertised.

I am trying to register online my EON One, and called Customer Service for help and they keep transferring to other departments. I can not believe JBL/Harmon customer service does not knows the "Product Family" of the EON ONE. One of the tech representatives said to just keep the receipt and that should work. Pretty upsetting.

On the other side. The product is great.

Comments about JBL EON ONE Linear-Array PA System with 6-Channel Mixer:

I'm a professional jazz guitarist and perform in a wide-range of gigs. Honestly, I am getting older (ha!) and somewhat tired of lugging heavy equipment around for performances. I recently landed a rather permanent gig in a small venue and it just did not make sense to carry all that gear around, especially two large speakers and a very heavy Twin Reverb amp. So, off to the Guitar Center I went after some research and decided to bring my gear and audition some of the alternatives out there. Yes, Bose has a high quality product depending on which one you select and IF you can afford the somewhat high price tag. Then I found the JBL Eon One's . WOW... sound quality is as good if not better than Bose equivalent and the unit has onboard reverb and more channels. The sound is very clean and impressive. For me, I don;t need to add an additional sub but if you need that you could do that. Out of the box the system was flawless. The stacks for the array are a bit tight (be careful) but they will loosen over time and you have three options for the height. At first my hollow body guitar did not have enough signal thru the unit - that is until I switched to mic vs line in. BIG difference and the tone is actually very clean and adjustable. I also auditioned the sister unit to this ... the JBL Eon Pro. It is also very nice, bit smaller woofer but does have few more channels. I opted for the one I bought as the backing tracks I create sound much better thru a 10" woofer vs an 8". Seriously, I am VERY FUSSY about my sound. I want it to be as close to live as possible, including the backing and with this unit. I feel I can achieve that as I have with other much more bulky equipment. I have not run my classical or acoustic guitars thru this yet, but the fact that a high-end hollowbody can sound so good gives me assurance that the other instruments will be just or even better.

I bought the JBL EON ONE for my Senior Entertainment business in October 2016 and have used it now about 15 gigs. I play small venues with 20 people up to large venues with 100 people. It works great in all situations. I love that the mic does not feed back through the system, so I generally place it about 6-8 feet behind me to my left so I can hear what is coming through the system. The bass (which I run at less than half) has been great as I use backing tracks that I play and sing with. Reverb works great too and I usually adjust based on the room I am playing in. Easy transport and set up. Most of the time I only set up the array tower with 1 extension (there are 2).

My big negative is the array tower is a little hard to put together and pull apart. The plastic connectors don't appear "heavy duty" so I try to be careful. Pulling apart can be a challenge, so I gently wiggle it, but I always am worrying about the plastic connectors. Seems like they could have engineered a better connector system.

I seriously considered the Bose L1 compact and have heard other musicians use them, but I felt I needed a little more power and bass coverage which the EON One provides. Guitar, vocals, and backing tracks all sound great through it. I run my mike, Ovation acoustic guitar, and backing tracks through a Behringer Xenyx Q802 Mixer, so I am generally not fiddling with the volume, treble, bass, or reverb (after I initially set it) on the unit or use the other channels, line in, etc. I do like that it all stores in one package (base unit, power cord, and tower pieces). It is a little heavier than the Bose L1 compact, but convenient handles make it easy to lift (I usually carry on a 2 wheel mag cart). There is a Rolling Transporter Bag that I have not bought yet ($130).

Overall, I am extremely happy with this unit for my specific needs. For noisy venues, or larger than 100 people, you may want 2 of these units or add on some good powered speakers.

Comments about JBL EON ONE Linear-Array PA System with 6-Channel Mixer:

I had previously used the Eon 515ET speakers for Karaoke venues. I needed smaller equipment with the same sound to save trips of hauling equipment from my vehicle. I went from 6 trips down to 2 trips. Need I say more? I have tried the Bose L1 for Karaoke venues and by far the Eon One array system is far superior for power and sound.

Comments about JBL EON ONE Linear-Array PA System with 6-Channel Mixer:

I waited a minimum of 90 days to review this product and found it to be a terrific addition to my DJ rigs. Sound is amazing although I would like to have a little more control of the Bluetooth input on the unit however I can control that from my bluetooth player just as well. If I had my rathers' I would have preferred for the linear array to be mounted on the back of the unit rather than the front, but that is really nitpicking. I will buy a second unit to bookend this for smaller house parties and the like.

Comments about JBL EON ONE Linear-Array PA System with 6-Channel Mixer:

I'm a professional musician and wanted something a bit lighter than my usual gear to use for somewhat smaller gigs. I auditioned all the Bose products but kept coming back to the Eon One. I have other JBL speaker arrays and they are the clearest, most accurate, broad-range of sound reproduction products out there in my view. As a jazz guitarist, I am really fussy about my tone and so pleased that the Eon One performs so well. I don't even need to bring any of my Boss pedals/boards. because just plugged into the unit, the sound is great and has onboard reverb which is great. The current price offer really helps make this a no-brainer choice. The only thing I would caution against is to be careful (initially) with the speaker tower parts. They are quite tight and you need to carefully 'wiggle' them rather than using brute force to place them in or pull them out. I find this is getting a bit easier as I use this unit. Otherwise, I am totally satisfied with the product and highly recommend it.

Very nice sound for a small cabinet.
                  Pros: Small, Light, good sound
Cons: Not linkable. Big issue is you cannot connect one speaker to another via XLR cable. JBL should have thought that through better.

Comments about JBL EON ONE Linear-Array PA System with 6-Channel Mixer:

As a Solo performer my quest for a system that could truly allow me one trip into a Gig has ended.
I play at a regular open mic to try new stuff and stay practiced in between Gigs. The one I attend uses the Bose L1 Compact and I love it sound wise but with no built in reverb and two parts to carry, it still didn't fit the bill. The JBL ENO ONE is a little heavier(not much) but packs into one piece to carry. Now with Guitar and Mic stand in one hand, the JBL in the other and a small back pack I'm in the door with one trip. I was skeptical as to how it would stack up to the L1 sound wise. First off the reverb certainly isn't as good as the Bose Tone Match, but it is certainly good and usable so that's $500.00 in My pocket(or what ever the cost of a different mixer with effects would be). Second, I do believe the L1 has a little better sound(using a Tone Match) and a little wider sound dispersion left to right. In the real world, that little isn't an issue so this thing is a Win!

Purchased 2 of these from guitar center think wow gonna have quality system for my professional DJ service! Well was I disappointed! First it is true the array tower is very difficult to get apart . You have to wiggle pull wiggle pull to separate and a knee on the base unit helps! 2 2nd time uses the tower quit working ! So I took them back after 2 weeks and Sara from Cedar Rapids guitar center was amazing and understanding! She said let's make you happy I purchased 2 new Qsc k12.2 cabs that'll blow theses away and with a 6 year warranty wow!!!!!!sorry Jbl back to the drawing board for you!
