This guitar is a thing of beauty; the stunning exotic wood finish really adds to the guitar's character. The price is surprisingly low for such a magnificent 12-string - I've played my friend's expensive Taylor twelve string, and really the only difference between the two is that this Ibanez sometimes doesn't resonate sound as well on the higher frets. There's no buzzing, but the notes aren't sustained as long. Other than that, everything is comparable to 12-string acoustics costing up to two-thousand dollars. It's a wonderful guitar to play, plus it doesn't take too big of a bite out of your wallet!

The product is great but the customer service was not that great. The item was back-ordered but we were not informed for a while and we were not kept up to date on when it was going to ship. When it finally did ship, it was left on our front porch, no signature required. Because of the backorder, it was late for the B-Day.

i looked through a lot of twelve strings and kept coming back to this one. the one thing that held me back was one of the other reviews said it was quiet when plugged it, i must disagree. sure, it needs to be turned up a notch, but nothing that would make me worry at all. it is over all a very very nice guitar, and everyone i've shown it to have loved the design and even more so, loved to sound. so if you are wondering if its worth it, i'm telling you, it is. it has great sounds, it plays very nice up on the higher frets, and the on-board tuner is great and having an XRL output is a very nice bonus.

I've saved up for this guitar for a year. I read some other reviews that said it wasn't very loud.. and it seems like it usually isn't. I plugged it into my amp and I had to make sure it was plugged in. It is pretty quiet, but it has A LOT of sound to it. The funnest part to this guitar is that you can start your strum from different strings, and it sounds really cool, since you would be hitting the higher octave strings. I am worried that the neck on mine will warp over time, being that there is more tension on the neck via the extra strings, but getting the right capo and tuning it down should do the trick. I think I've heard some minor buzzing while trying to hold down the strings, and it is quite the work out, but you get use to it over time.

Again, took a chance by buying online without going to a store. No disappointment!! The Guitar is beautiful, sounds great acoustically. The shape is a little weird but the finish is gorgeous. I haven't used it plugged into anything yet but it comes with a tuner built into the guitar which is cool. Along with Chorus and associated volume controls etc. It's a stael at this price. I picked this up last night and played until my hands were cramping! The look and feel are fantastic for the price. The only thing I would recommend is to get the Ibanez case with this one. Or, bring the guitar to the store and try the fit with all of their cases. I found that the store brand case I ordered, is way too tight.

I've always wanted a 12-string guitar and came across this beauty. Ordered it online...I know you should always play a guitar before buying it but the 45-day return policy gave me the comfort to forge ahead. I couldn't be happier. This thing plays as well as any 12-string that I have played and sounds phenomenal both acoustic and plugged through my ME-880/Peavy tube amp. If your looking for a great sounding and easy to play 12-string this in the one.

I had bought the breedlove pursuit 12 string and the action was to high and it sounded flat so it went back
Also bought the takamine eg30 12 string it had grate action but the strings buzzed and the repair man from guitar center didnt wanted to fix it so it too went back
So i had no other option the to try this one cuz my budget and im happy with it because it sounds loud clear grate bass action is amazingly low no buzz super playable i think it can compete with higher end guitars

Perfect for any real musician. Some may see it as "girly" which you may like or dislike. The look is more Taylor Swift than Zakk Wylde, but if you care more about sound than image, you won't be disappointed. The sound is fantastic - isn't that the point?

Have not played in several years: had an Ovation 12-string. Ibanez 12-tring is easy to fret with a Great hall sound. The guitar is very pleasing to look at: an unusual wood finish. Your web-site was easy to navigate and use. Check-out was no worries.

I received my 12 string Ibanez Christmas of 2014...I have not put it down yet. Everywhere I go, everyone wants to try it out and really enjoys. Best Christmas present I have ever received. I would recommend this to ANYONE wanting to enjoy learning to play.

Guitar was on sale. Bought it on line. Looks great, well built. Sounds thin and cheap. My $400 Yamaha sounds much richer, better tone. Have to say it sounded better amplified.

Great for playing and jamming no matter the song. this was my first twelve string and i absolutely love it. However, when i ordered this guitar online everything went through until guitar center days later emailed me saying the guitar was no longer in stock, online however it was still available. I called my local GC store in order to ask questions and the staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful. they passed me off to 4 different people and were totally uninterested in my questions. Other places have the same guitar and for a better price.
