collapse expand iconDescription

The Ibanez AG75G Artcore hollow body electric guitar. This sophisticated hollowbody seamlessly blends a classic jazzbox design with proprietary pickups and updated ergonomics, delivering full, nuanced tone and peerless playability. The AG75G features a fully hollow linden body and set-in mahogany neck for a warm, balanced acoustic voice. Ibanez's own Classic Elite humbucking pickups provide fat yet articulate tone with no hum or noise, powered by a 3-way selector switch and master volume and tone controls. A mid-sized, double-cutaway body offers enhanced comfort for players of all sizes.

Classic Hollowbody Design Provides Authentic Jazz Tone

The AG75G's fully hollow linden body recalls the lush acoustic resonance of vintage jazz guitars. The linden top, back and sides vibrate freely, producing a rich midrange and woody low end. A set-in mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard further enhance sustain and tonal depth. The AG75G's acoustic voice provides an ideal platform for the Classic Elite pickups to shape into a variety of classic jazz tones.

Proprietary Classic Elite Humbucking Pickups Eliminate Hum and Noise

Ibanez designed the Classic Elite pickups specifically for the Artcore series to capture the tone of traditional hollowbody guitars without the feedback and hum. These humbucking pickups use ceramic magnets to produce a warm, articulate tone with enhanced clarity and note definition. A 3-way selector switch provides access to neck pickup, bridge pickup or both, enabling a variety of sweet, singing tones from sharp and cutting to round and mellow.

Mid-Sized, Contoured Body Offers Enhanced Comfort and Playability

While the AG75G delivers quintessential jazzbox tone, its double-cutaway body provides a slimmer, more ergonomic profile than a traditional archtop. Sculpted contours along the top, back and armrest nestle comfortably against the player's body, facilitating longer playing sessions and access to the upper frets. A 24.75" scale length, 1.77" nut width and medium jumbo frets further enhance the AG75G's playability for guitarists of all levels.

Durable, High-Quality Components Ensure Stable Intonation and Tuning

The AG75G features a Gibraltar Performer bridge and Quik Change III tailpiece, providing exceptional tuning stability and string-to-string balance. Sure Grip III control knobs give players a non-slip grip to dial in the perfect tone. Premium die-cast tuners keep the AG75G sounding its best through the rigors of practice, performance and transport. Overall, the AG75G's blend of premium tonewoods, innovative pickups and road-ready hardware make it an outstanding and affordable hollowbody for jazz, blues or rock.

I've been playing guitar for the better part of 15 years. I have wanted to "Learn" jazz. Now I have (what I think is) the perfect vehicle to play My Jazz on. . . !! Neck Pick-up, Clean setting, Sounds Heavenly.

It's shipped with protective foam underneath the floating bridge. While I understand this is designed to protect the surface in transit, it creates a situation where the bridge needs to be taken off in order to remove the protective foam. Ultimately this is not a major issue, as you're likely going to want to set up the guitar anyway, but it struck me as odd.

Does this model have coil splitting knobs? That you push down and pull up to split the humbucking coils.

The intonation is off. I think the bridge moved when I changed strings, but I can't seem to "guess" where it goes. Ibanez specs don't give a good description of where it should go. Maybe 3/4" from the bottom pickup?

This is not a movable bridge. If you think the bridge has moved you should bring it to a tech.
