Comments about Ibanez AELBT1 Acoustic-Electric Baritone Guitar:

I played the Taylor GT6 and then the newer 326 and their sound was great on the top 4 strings. Both had a very flat low volume on the 5th and 6th string so I chose the Ibanez at one fourth the price. The Ibanez does not have the crisp sound on the upper strings of the Taylor, but the lower two sound way better. Plugged in it sounds wonderful. The action is a little high and GuitarCenter does not support new sales for adjusting the action, but I will take care of that. The bigger strings take a little getting used to, but I really like the concept of playing songs in a different key. Capo on the second fret and it still sounds good. The finish and construction are great. Beautiful looking guitar.

Comments about Ibanez AELBT1 Acoustic-Electric Baritone Guitar:

Works well to play in keys lower than a guitar tuned to E standard. Good for baritone range vocalists....go figure. The fishman electronics seem to record well plugged straight into a DAW and of course sound that much better ran through a Pre-amp. I am using the L.R. Baggs para acoustic D.I. Its fun to dial in the low tone on this beast. If you have not played Extended Range Guitars before beware of the .70 low string, its pretty huge but is nice and clear. Check out my video to hear how it sounds. Plugged in and Mic'd up with and Avantone tube condenser

Comments about Ibanez AELBT1 Acoustic-Electric Baritone Guitar:

If you have a lower voice range and would like to play in more of the original fret voicing as you sing, this is a great solution. To tune it with a low C# in standard tuning, I put on some D'Addario EJ18 heavy gauge strings(.014 - .059) so there would not be too much tension on the neck. It sounds great. Most baritones tune with a low B which is not ideal for me. If want standard guitar I just capo on 3 yet I can drop a minor 3rd if needed for my voice on some arrangements. It's like doing a reverse capo 3.

Comments about Ibanez AELBT1 Acoustic-Electric Baritone Guitar:

I love this guitar. It's everything I hoped it would be. The lower tuning adds a nice dimension to the music. Doubling up with a regular acoustic, I fell in love with it even more. I would recommend this guitar to anyone.

        Great Guitar/Case for the price

Comments about Ibanez AELBT1 Acoustic-Electric Baritone Guitar:

Love the guitar. Great instrument for the price point, especially since it includes a case. However, disappointed that case was not shipped with guitar. In fact, it wasn't shipped at all. Had to call GC and request it - then they sent the wrong case. Sent it back and finally got the correct case - a good three weeks late. : (
