Its grand concert body is constructed from sapele, producing a balanced, resonant tone with a lively midrange and rich low end. AEQ-TTS Preamp Provides Simple Tone Tailoring

The built-in AEQ-TTS preamp makes it easy to shape your tone to suit any musical style or environment. Just turn the volume knob to adjust the output level and the shape knob to go from a natural, acoustic sound to brighter or warmer tones. An onboard tuner with an LCD display helps you stay in tune on stage or in the studio.

Ibanez T-bar II Pickup Captures Nuanced Detail

The Ibanez T-bar II undersaddle pickup accurately reproduces the AEG62's acoustic resonance and nuance. It picks up soft touches, percussive hits and bassy thumps, ideal for musical styles focused on expression and experimentation. The pickup's balanced output prevents any one string from overpowering the others, delivering a clear, even signal to your amp or PA.

Deep Cutaway Provides Full Fretboard Access

A deep cutaway gives you unrestricted access to higher frets beyond the 10th, ideal for soloing or intricate chording. The smooth, slim neck and walnut fingerboard facilitate fleet-fingered playing across the fretboard.

Additional Appointments Enhance Playability and Style

    This is exactly what I was looking for! It has a great neck for both chords and leads. I prefer the sound that is not very bright. The pickup is excellent and the tones are even better when connected to an amp. Definitely has its own character and stands out sonically too.

    Ive had this guitar for about 3 and a half years, I started playing right before the pandemic started and it was the only this that occupied my day during covid. This guitar has an AMAZING sound coming from factory strings especially. She's always been my #1 guitar out of the four I have, it's a fantastic guitar to start as a beginner on and it lasts forever. For the price, and quality, I HIGHLY recommend getting this guitar.

    I was looking for an acoustic six string of a decent price, and this guitar excels in quality craftsmanship. It's so beautiful to look at, and it is glossy enough to see yourself in the reflection. I mostly play metal electric guitars, but a well rounded musician needs a good acoustic guitar for some inspiration when needed. This guitar is the best bang for the buck, as it looks and feels like it should be worth more. The tone controls are limited to a shape knob in the preamp, but an acoustic guitar should not have too many tone controls as most of the sound comes from the body itself. It has a rich, low-mid tone when plugged in, which is my cup of tea, but maybe not for others. I seriously recommend getting a case of any type (Softshell, or Hardshell) that can fit it. The guitar looks too good to go without a case.

    Does this guitar need to be plugged into an amp for the tuner to work?

    It needs to be plugged into a cable but you don't need an amp on the other end. The input jack acts as an on/off switch.

    No, not at all. A pickguard has nothing to do with playing. It protects the wood.
