Fantastic Acoustic Bass

I just picked this bass up a few days ago after a long search for an acoustic/electric bass. I liked this bass in terms of looks, usable volume while not plugged in, and general playing dynamics. I'd go so far as to say that I liked it better than the basses that cost twice as much. The tuner works well, and is a very handy feature. I was shocked when I plugged it into my home amp (Peavey TKO 115 S) how "big" the sound was. Also pleased with how quiet the electronics are. No residual hum or whine here. Very pleased with initial quality, sound, and fit/finish. As with all Ibanez guitars, the neck is fast and allows for clean, quick playing. Can't imagine getting more for the money than this. Less expensive than the Ibanez solid I started with 20 years ago, and puts it to shame in terms of tone. Highly recommended for just about any type of music.

Not worth the money

I just use as a practice bass at home, but it won't stay in tune! I had my guitar guy work on it several times with no luck.

Just got this acoustic bass and I love it. Great playing instrument, fret board is smooth, nice string action, beautiful finish. Great for quiet practice but sounds good plugged in. Highly recommend.

This bass is literally top of the line sounding for its price point. It feels great, isn't too big. Everything about it is perfect besides the fact that the color doesn't come in the same as pictured. It's much lighter than the picture they have online. It's more of a medium sunburst. Of course, I love it anyway.

So far I've only been able to use this bass at home but I can tell you that it's amazing! As my 5th bass and first acoustic, most of the time I reach for this one before anything else because for me it is flawless. Definitely recommend and I don't think that you could get a better or prettier bass for the price.

When I first bought this from a store, I was new to any kind of bass as an owner. I picked an acoustic because I thought it would be more versatile, and I still believe that to be true. I have as a guitar player, messed with basses, but never actually owned one. As I stated, I have owned this Ibanez for a couple/few years and have grown to really like it ALOT! The one thing that, I think, made it a hundred times better was 1: adjust the neck to eliminate factory neck buzz and 2: install flat wond strings. I plug it into an Accoustic AB50.A really all around decent/good guitar for the doe, It both rocks and plays sweetly!

The Road Runner RRMBA17 ABS Molded Acoustic Bass Case would be the best choice for this bass.

The Road Runner RRMBA17 ABS Molded Acoustic Bass Case would be a good choice but the Dean Acoustic Bass Gig Bag should also work.

    Hi there.
I'm looking at possible ordering a Ibanez AEB10E acoustic electric bass. I have some questions tho. Is there a trust rod thru the neck? What kind of packaging would this be shipped in? Also is there a part # for a case that will fit this bass? If I was to order a case would it be shipped in the case or separate? Hopefully you can help me out with these questions.
Thanks
Chris

There is a truss rod through the neck. The bass is well packed in the shipping package. Ibanez AEB50C Hardshell Case for AEB10 Acoustic Bass. If ordered the bass and case would be shipped separately.
