Amazing amplifier

One of the few amps I have ever owned that sound good no matter where the dials are set. I own and use 3 amplifiers. A Mesa Boogie Maverick, a Vox AC30 and now my favorite A tubemeister. I reccomend this amp to any guitarist

Impossible to review these products

Impossible to review or evaluate either the H&K amp head or the speaker cab since the amp didn't work straight out of the box. The TSC device indicated bad tubes (apparently multiple tubes). The unit is supposedly designed in Germany but manufactured in China. Maybe the QC is sub par?

    Excellent clean and strong metal. No additional foot pedal needed. I love the stock sound. Just switch guitars for multitude of sound. Strat, prs and LP all sound great. The power soak is the most impressive feature. Beats any of the modeling amps by a mile at a similar price point. Running through a home made 2x12 with vintage 30s. Used to use triple rec and peavey tripple x. I mich prefer the clean and boost on this one at a third of the cost.

    I have a couple of digital amps, and they're good...but NOTHING compares to a good tube amp!!! Hughes & Kettner, in my opinion, is leading the field when it comes to find amps!! Thank you Hughes & Kettner!!
