Established in 1985, Hiscox Cases Ltd. is the brainchild of Brynn Hiscox, a professional guitar maker. Being acutely aware of the lack of quality cases on the market, he used his engineering background to design a case that stood up to his exacting requirements. Brynn's customers demanded cases that had higher protection, but with less weight. And so the Hiscox family of instrument cases was born.
Utilizing a proprietary polyurethane injection molding system, superior shell materials, and best-in-class hardware, Hiscox cases provide the best thermal protection, crush resistance and puncture resistance of any case in its weight or price range. Hiscox Artist Series Guitar cases are beautifully styled and incredibly rugged with padded crushed velour interior and integrated accessory compartment. The instrument sits on strategically placed foam cushions to create the ultimate in lightweight protection.

Comments about Hiscox Cases Acoustic Guitar Case/Dreadnght Black Shell/Silver Int-Pro II:
The build quality of this case is through the roof! I hope to carry it on a flight or two, but would feel 100% confident gate checking it, and might feel almost comfortable with it being checked, but only if there was absolutely no other choice - that would take a Carlton or Accord IMHO and the guitar is worth less than those cases cost. My non-dreadnaught Martin JC-16RE Aura travel guitar fits in this case almost like a glove. I will want to add some 100% cotton batting based pads along the bottom of the guitar to keep it from traveling vertically in the case at all (it's pretty close to 100% snug as it is). I emailed Hiscox about getting a custom pad or two a few days ago, but have not heard back. This guitar also has a slightly convex back and so something along the back of the case near where the neck crosses to its support would be helpful as well. But my wife is a great seamstress, so no stars removed for that. Well done, Hiscox! Finally, the promotional coupon code made the deal even sweeter.

Exceeds my expectations - worth every penny!
Comments about Hiscox Cases Acoustic Guitar Case/Dreadnght Black Shell/Silver Int-Pro II:
This case exceeds my expectations in every way! I have read about it at the Hiscox web site and at the Jazz Guitar Forum - the specs are great to read - but when you see it ... it is a delight. it's so well made and so very light! I haven't flown with it yet but that is the main reason I bought it. I feel very confident about checking it into baggage after seeing how strong the material is, and how well thought-out this product is - case reinforcement, the hinges, the crush protection ... great product from The Mother Land!

Comments about Hiscox Cases Acoustic Guitar Case/Dreadnght Black Shell/Silver Int-Pro II:
I recently acquired a 1964 Epiphone Texan and needed a case. Decided to go the slightly more expensive route and couldn't be more glad I did. The guitar fits perfectly in the case and I have no worries about transporting it at all.

Comments about Hiscox Cases Acoustic Guitar Case/Dreadnght Black Shell/Silver Int-Pro II:
I needed a case for a 1970's Epiphone that was recently repaired. This case is a perfect fit. It is very well constructed and worth the price. It arrived quickly after it was shipped.

Comments about Hiscox Cases Acoustic Guitar Case/Dreadnght Black Shell/Silver Int-Pro II:
This is an absolute top quality case. Above and beyond the usual plywood ordinary case. Ok, if budget is an issue, those plywood cases are ok. If you can spare some extra bucks, this is a truly quality item, Made in England, that will last forever.
