Get your hands on a piece of rock history with the Gretsch G8424T Billy Duffy Signature Falcon LTD.

Resonant Tonewoods Channel "Sanctuary" Era

The G8424T Falcon's all-mahogany construction produces the warm yet cutting tone that defined The Cult's early records. The hollow mahogany body resonates fully for rich tone with piano-like bass, shimmering highs and singing sustain. The mahogany neck's slim U-shape provides comfortable playability for intricate leads and rhythm work. The premium ebony fingerboard enhances clarity and resonance. Together, these tonewoods capture the sound of Duffy's legendary "Sanctuary" Falcon.

Filter'Tron Pickups Deliver Legendary Gretsch Sound

This guitar is loaded with a pair of custom-wound Black Top Filter'Tron humbuckers, providing all the tonal nuance and power of the original Falcon that Billy Duffy played in The Cult's early days. These high-output pickups deliver tight, articulate lows, shimmering highs and a fast dynamic response perfect for aggressive rock playing. Individual volume controls for each pickup give you complete control over your tone. Flip between pickups using the three-way switch to access a range of sounds from thick and chunky to bright and cutting.

Iconic Vibrato and Adjustable Bridge

No rock guitar is complete without a whammy bar and this Falcon comes equipped with Gretsch's legendary Bigsby B6CB vibrato tailpiece. The Bigsby produces smooth pitch-shifting effects that work in harmony with the Filter'Tron pickups. It's paired with an Adjusto-Matic bridge with individually adjustable saddles for perfect intonation. Tune with precision using the Grover tuners, which provide rock-solid tuning stability under heavy use of the vibrato arm.

Limited Edition and Hand-Signed

As a handbuilt signature model from the Gretsch Custom Shop, the G8424T Billy Duffy Falcon LTD is a highly collectible instrument. Only 200 guitars were produced, each featuring Duffy's stylized "Billy Duffy" signature on the truss rod cover and hand-signed by the guitarist himself. This guitar comes with an exclusive commemorative case and case candy (accessories) to complete the collectability.
