Gretsch Guitars

Description

The Gretsch Streamliner Jet 1 Pickup electric guitar offers a sleek, modern take on Gretsch's classic Jet body design while delivering powerful tone and refined playability. Featuring a mahogany body with a carved solid maple top, this model blends warmth and clarity with a focused midrange punch. Its compact design and lightweight construction make it ideal for long studio sessions or energetic performances. Equipped with a high-output ceramic humbucker in the bridge position, this guitar provides the biting tone and sustain needed for commanding leads and punchy rhythm work. Treated with a gloss polyester finish, the Streamliner Jet combines durability with a polished aesthetic, making it as visually striking as it is sonically versatile.

Mahogany Body With Carved Maple Top for Resonant Tone

The mahogany body of this instrument delivers rich, resonant lows and a balanced midrange, while the solid carved maple top adds brightness and definition to every note. This combination ensures the Streamliner Jet remains articulate even at higher gain settings, making it suitable for lead lines that need clarity and presence. The maple top also enhances sustain, allowing notes to ring out longer. Finished in durable gloss polyester, the body construction not only protects the guitar but also contributes to its vibrant aesthetic, ensuring it performs well while making a lasting visual impression.

Indian Laurel Fingerboard for Effortless Fretting

The Streamliner Jet's Indian laurel fingerboard offers a smooth and responsive surface that enhances fretting precision. Paired with medium-jumbo frets, the design supports comfortable chord transitions and effortless bends, ideal for players seeking fluid playability. The 24.875" scale length adds a slightly compact feel, making the neck easy to navigate for players with smaller hands or those looking for a fast-playing instrument. Pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays complement the fingerboard's design, providing a vintage-inspired aesthetic while ensuring visibility across all frets. Together, these features create a neck setup that promotes both comfort and precision during extended playing sessions.

HotWire Ceramic Humbucker Delivers High-Output Tone

At the heart of this Streamliner Jet is a single HotWire high-output ceramic humbucker, designed to produce bold, focused tones with enhanced sustain and clarity. Located in the bridge position, this pickup cuts through mixes with ease, delivering the punchy midrange and tight low end needed for driving rhythm work and powerful lead lines. With simple master volume and master tone controls, players can shape their sound on the fly, whether dialing in warmth or emphasizing brightness. This setup ensures consistent, dynamic tone across performance settings while maintaining the guitar's streamlined aesthetic.

Compensated Wrap-Around Bridge for Reliable Intonation

The compensated wrap-around bridge on this guitar ensures precise intonation and solid tuning stability, even during impassioned performances. Its design promotes optimal string vibration transfer to the body, enhancing sustain and tonal clarity. Paired with die-cast sealed tuning machines, the hardware setup delivers consistent performance while maintaining the Jet's classic appearance. Additionally, the dual-action truss rod provides reliable neck stability, ensuring the guitar's excellent playability and precise intonation over time. These robust features make the Streamliner Jet a dependable choice for gigging musicians and studio players alike.

Lightweight Gretsch Design for Discerning Modern Players

The Gretsch Streamliner Jet 1 Pickup electric guitar offers powerful tone and modern playability in a compact, lightweight design. Its mahogany body and carved maple top provide a rich sonic foundation, while the HotWire humbucker delivers the aggressive output needed for dynamic performances. Whether you're refining your technique or taking the stage, this guitar's responsive feel and dependable hardware make it a reliable choice for musicians seeking bold tone and effortless playability.
