collapse expand iconDescription

Since the early 1950s, the Gretsch Jet has been producing some of the most iconic sounds in rock 'n' roll. The G6128T Players Edition Jet DS with Bigsby carries on that tradition as a culmination of over half a century of tonal and performance wizardry.

The Jet DS starts with a chambered, select mahogany body and maple top to produces the signature strong, punchy tonality that made the Jet's reputation. For the Players Edition Jet DS, Gretsch chose a 1.85" depth along with vintage chambering to deliver a tighter, more controlled attack that still retains precise articulation.

DynaSonic bridge and neck single-coil pickups complement the Jet DS's chambered body to produce bright, shimmering highs and a tight, well-defined, rich bass for a distinct tone that cuts through.

Responding to player needs for increased comfort, the Jet DS features a lowered neck set that greatly improves fret-hand mobility while also giving the picking hand a closer approach, increasing comfort and accuracy.

The full-access rolled cutaway and tapered heel allow free access to upper frets without awkward pivoting or palm obstruction. This sleek design remains hidden, preserving a vintage aesthetic—a critical feature that is meant to be felt, not seen.

The Jet DS comes equipped with additional Players Edition features for total control of your tone and performance, including no-load master tone pot with Squeezebox paper-in-oil capacitor, master volume with treble bleed circuit and individual pickup volume controls.

It includes a deluxe hardshell case.
