Comments about Gretsch Guitars G5622T Electromatic Center Block Double Cutaway with Bigsby:

Just picked this guitar up yesterday, but I have been researching it for a while and playing it every time I visit a guitar center. The guitar looks and sounds great. No fret buzz while playing, however the tremelo arm does put the guitar slightly out of tune. I expected this as much. Maybe with more use this will happen less frequently, but otherwise a great instrument with looks and price!

Comments about Gretsch Guitars G5622T Electromatic Center Block Double Cutaway with Bigsby:

Incredible guitar for the money. I gave it a good set-up and it plays and sounds great. I have it strung with 10-46 strings and it stays in tune very well , even using the Bigsby. I recommend lubing the string slots in the nut , that helps keep it in tune. Fit and finish were excellent , and the Super HiLo'Tron pickups are hum-free , have a really nice high end sparkle and tight lows. Not muddy , very articulate. The neck is a very comfortable C shape. Other nice features are a pinned bridge (no sliding around) and the treble blled circuit which retains highs when the volume is rolled down. Great playing , great sounding and beautiful to look at. At this price , it's a real winner. Really captures the sound and spirit of the late '60s Gretsch's.

Comments about Gretsch Guitars G5622T Electromatic Center Block Double Cutaway with Bigsby:

This is the most exciting and inspiring guitar I have owned in my fifteen years of playing. I walked into GC with the intention of checking out some semi-hollowbodies and a bit of curiosity about the G5422 full hollowbody. I left three hours later with this G5622T.

Pictures won't do it justice, nor will sound-bites or video reviews. I love the new look (the older 2016 version has cat eye holes which are replaced by f-holes, a black pick guard which is replaced by a perectly color matching cream pick guard, and a middle pickup and extra toggle which are no longer here ), and it feels great to hold. Most importantly, the sound is very impressive. As you may expect, the G5422 has a bit more of a filled-out sound, but it leans a bit too much towards an acoustic sound in my opinion. This G5622T is very well suited for everything from jazz to punk. It has a great range of tones, sounds incredible clean, and handles gain very well.

When I first encountered it in GC, I immediately took it off the wall and played it for over an hour. I bought it on the spot and don't regret it for a second. Taking it home, I never want to put it down. It even sounds great unplugged.

Comments about Gretsch Guitars G5622T Electromatic Center Block Double Cutaway with Bigsby:

Loved this thing when I played it in store, didn't buy the floor model though. I bought one off of the gc website and the product I received was just as great to play. Great price for a great instrument. Love how much gain this baby can take. Just wish it came with a case, it would make looking for one way easier.
