collapse expand iconDescription

The G5210T-P90 Electromatic Jet, Gretsch's take on a chambered single-cut electric guitar. Packed with P-90E single-coil pickups and a Bigsby B50 vibrato tailpiece, the G5210T-P90 delivers a dynamic sound with optimal sound-shaping capabilities. Its chambered mahogany body and maple top provide an exceptional acoustic balance and strong sonic profile. Combined with a comfortable U-shaped mahogany neck and laurel fingerboard, the G5210T-P90 offers a familiar feel for articulate, stylish playability.

P-90E Pickups Produce a Bold, Dynamic Tone

The G5210T-P90 is equipped with P-90E single-coil pickups for a bold, dynamic tone that cuts through any mix. The bridge pickup provides a bright, articulate sound with punchy lows and crisp highs. The neck pickup warms the tone with a smooth, rounded sound. With 3-way switching, you can select the bridge pickup, neck pickup or blend both pickups together for the full range of Gretsch's iconic single-coil tone.

Bigsby B50 Vibrato Tailpiece Sculpts Your Sound

A Bigsby B50 vibrato tailpiece gives you the ability to subtly sculpt your tone by adjusting string tension. Adding a shimmering tremolo effect or slight pitch bend, the Bigsby tailpiece provides a versatility suited for any style. Firmly anchored to the top of the guitar, the B50 ensures tuning stability even with heavy use.

Chambered Mahogany Body Delivers Acoustic Balance

The G5210T-P90 has a chambered mahogany body topped with maple for acoustic balance and sustain. Mahogany produces a warm, resonant tone with emphasized low-end and maple adds clarity and cut. Together, they create a balanced tone that rings out with piano-like overtones.

Comfortable Playability

A comfortable U-shaped mahogany neck and 12" radius laurel fingerboard provide a familiar feel for articulate playability. 22 medium frets offer ample space for solos while still lending itself well to rhythm playing. Pearloid Neo-Classical thumbnail inlays add a touch of Gretsch style.

This is a very attractive and fun to play guitar that doesn't resemble the hollow bodies you normally associate with Gretch. It looks like a solid body but actually has a chambered body. It also has P90's which is a first for Gretch and includes a Bigsby. It plays nicely and is very comfortable.

This thing looks even better in person. Feels great across the fret board. Sounds great and I love the vintage style pickups they fit the look of the whole guitar. #sweepstakes

This guitar was great when sitting down on a stool at Guitar Center. A completely different animal at home standing up. The U shaped neck eventually caused muscle stress on my hand and forearm. The bridge is so far forward on the guitar that it will feel like you are playing a Baritone vs a 24.6" length. This guitar is brutally uncomfortable and is a massive fail in design IMO.

Great guitar for the money. I have a G5230T but wanted something with P90s. I was looking at other brands offering P90 pickups when this popped up in my search. I like my other Gretsch so I grabbed one in white. Right out of the box it sounded great and the fit and finish was flawless. I immediately popped a roller bridge on it to reduce any tuning stability issues inherent with the Bigsby B50. I've had it for a few months now and I find myself playing it all the time. A side note: the G string tuner was stripped out of the box but GC ordered one from Fender and within a week I had it and swapped it out. These tuners in general seem a little cheaper than the ones on my G5230T so I'll eventually upgrade them. If this guitar was more expensive, I would have marked the rating down for that. But you can't beat it for the price and with a few bucks in upgrades, you have a very playable guitar.

#sweepstakes As soon as I saw this new model of Gretsch with P90s and a Vintage White finish, I knew I had to have it. When I received it, it did not disappoint. The guitar is just beautiful. The P90s sing and growl, and the guitar is a great player. Gretsch Electromatics are one of the very best bangs for your buck in guitars. Highly recommend!

I currently support a singer songwriter in a trio, and plan to add this guitar to our live performances. I was blown away by the aesthetic of the 5210T in Mako blue with the tortoise guard. The sound and quality are surprisingly good for its sub-$1000 price. It came nicely set up. Sounds great clean and overdriven - a nice contrast to my Fenders and Les Paul. The Bigsby works well and the tuning stays stable. My only complaint is the lack of a bag or case, but that's likely why it was priced as such. Overall, a great purchase and one I'd recommend if you're a fan of vintage tones and styles.
