Comments about Gretsch Guitars G5024E Rancher Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This guitar has an acoustic tone far better than it's price would indicate. When I A-B it with a good Gibson or a vintage Guild, it doesn't measure up but those guitars cost ten times what I spent on this Gretsch. The pickup system is easy to use and puts out a good acoustic tone rather than the raspy sound of most cheep systems. The onboard tuner is accurate and quick to use on stage. The finish is amazing, flawlessly done, and the setup was fine right out of the box. There isn't anything in this price range that even comes close to the tone and playability of this guitar. This has been my grab-and-go guitar for over a year now, I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Comments about Gretsch Guitars G5024E Rancher Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Couldn't be more pleased with my purchase of my Gretsch Rancher. The detail and quality in craftmanship exceeds any other guitar I've had, or even played, for the money.! It played well right out of the box also. I've invested a lot of time and effort looking for a quitar like this, but it has finally paid off!

Comments about Gretsch Guitars G5024E Rancher Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I have several guitars (Martin, Takamime, Gibson) although at a lower price point its sounds terrific both unplugged and through my PA. The Fishman electronics are great and at true acoustic sound. The finish and workmanship could not be better. It's a beautiful guitar and feels good.

Comments about Gretsch Guitars G5024E Rancher Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I'm a singer that always wanted to be a guitar player. At 48, I decided I better do something about it before I ran out of time. Went out and bought an old Yamaha and took a couple of months worth of lessons. After getting to the point where I thought I deserved a better instrument, I narrowed it down to the Gretsch or the Epiphone Hummingbird. Both were about the same price, had built in electronics so I could strum along at gigs and rehearsals, and had the sunburst finish I wanted. After playing them head to head, the Gretsch not only sounded better but felt better to play. The finish is beautiful, it stays in tune, is comfortable for me to play, and has a great sound. Even the snobby guitar player in my band was impressed. I can't wait to pick it up and play it everyday. Super happy.
