Never use other picks again!

I thought to myself, "So how much difference can a pick make?" I was given a reality check with this purchase. I thought I was just hearing things until I compared this to several other picks. The result: Other picks have a dull "thud" when compared to these picks giving a very airy and harmonic sound with use. I know that many producers will encourage guitarists to use a lighter picks than they are used to on some tracks because of the sweetness that they lend in sound. Somehow, these picks give that beautiful ringy tones, timbres and harmonics that accentuate the metals that are used in your strings and then are transferred to the guitar itself. These picks are flat-out amazing and I surprise myself that I am ranting about something as simple as a pick but if you are a serious musician who wants the ultimate tone from his/her guitar, try these!

Meh.

It's a plastic guitar pick. It may be made of the Tusq material, but that doesn't make it great for playing. I ordered the 2 different thicknesses and wasn't impressed by either. On top of that, the edges were terribly unfinished and had had nubs from the molding left on that I had to sand down before they were even usable. Skip these and go with Dunlop's Ultex picks if you want something that feels good and has is a tonal improvement over other picks.

    I am trying different picks to see if there is something better than what I previously used. Have had them for a week, so far so good. No final decision as of yet.

    Adds a little sparkle more noticeable when playing clean and slow. Wears about as fast as a regular celluloid pick for me. I can live with that.

    "Snappy" is the only way i can describe these compared to other picks i use. I like the raised lettering for grip, and they're nice and smooth, but they have that snappy kind of tone to them, which i find interesting, but haven't decided if i like yet. Def prefer for individual notes more than chords i think... will need some time to decide if they make it to the top of the pile.

    I really like these picks. Very nice warm tone when strumming acoustic. Have experienced a harsh, brittle sound with other thicker plastic type picks. I also like the raised lettering on both sides of the pick that provide a better grip. Great product.

    Maybe not for everyone but a must try. Just get a slightly thicker pick than normal as these tend to flex a bit more. I'm hooked.
