Overview

Original ES-335 "dot-necks" are some of the vintage world's most valued semi-hollowbody guitars, with a warmth of tone and playability that made them immensely popular among blues, jazz and rock artists of the late 1950s. Several times over the years, Gibson has created limited-run versions of the ES-335 loaded with P-90 single-coil pickups. These versions have always sold out quickly, having a uniquely appealing tone and look that stands out. This 2019 version is loaded with MHS (Memphis Historic Spec) P-90s with a hand-wired pickup harness, as well as nickel-plated brass saddles in the ABR-1 Tune-o-matic bridge and a bone nut for vintage-accurate tones.
