I purchased both the bridge and and neck covers in nickel for my Les Paul Classic Goldtop. Not only did they improve the asthetics of the guitar, but are also functional. The double black ceramics that came stock on this model Les Paul just didn't look quite right on a Goldtop. These covers also got rid of most of the hum and buzz that these high output pickups would put out. Pickup covers not only protect the coils, but provide the nessasary shielding to squelch any unwanted noise. Both of the Gibson covers look great and were easy to install with a soldering iron.

I have ordered these covers a number of time as I am not a fan of Bare Pickups..I have been told that with covers it reduces the sound quality. Eric Johnson can tell the difference between battery brands in effects pedals but I am not that good. Just want to keep the Nacho Crumbs out of the pickup wraps. I ordered this Cover and also at same time a Cover for the Neck Pickup both in Chrome finish. I was installing these in a Gibson Les Paul Signature "T" with 57 Classic Humbuckers. Did not know that on the 57 Classic Humbuckers that the Neck and Bridge Pickup Pole Spacing is the Same. So On these Pickups you have to use neck covers for both Pickups, So very Important to measure spacing prior to Ordering, something I have never done and this time it bit me... Other than that issue, I have used these covers on other projects and they work and look fine, so that is why even though I could not use I still gave 5 Stars..

First, I have to say that this is the 2nd order regarding covers. I read reviews & followed advice of others recommending 2 neck covers due to comments of the bridge cover not lining up with the pole pieces. When I took my SG to my local Guitar Center, the luthier told me "it's a 50/50 chance that they'll fit". We'll, the 2 neck covers didn't fit so I had ordered a single bridge cover. So, my advice if you want to replace your pup covers or decide you want to cover your humbuckers with these covers, just order a neck & bridge cover and take the chance they'll fit....In the end, the inconvenience payed off. I was inspired by Gibson's SG Standard Gold Series Limited Edition axe in Alpine White w/gold hardware & wanted to add gold to the Cherry. The gold really enhances the cherry finish. The original covers are chrome so the sound from the pups hasn't changed. I'd like to say the gold enhances the sound! These covers are recommended for any cosmetic upgrade. Remember to keep the original hardware if you wish to sell or trade in the future...Next, possibly gold knobs with silver top...

Fits as Advertised. Installed Bridge and Neck on an SG. Sealed and Bonded. No feedback problems. Works like a Champ and Looks Good too

Gibson humbuckers are different dimensions than other humbuckers and require Gibson covers. I learned that the hard way. But, these covers fit perfectly and have excellent plating. Just remember to sand some of the plating off the inside of the cover before soldering them to your pickup.

I got the Nickel P.U. covers to replace the very tarnished gold ones on my 2007 LP Studio and they look beautiful. Be aware, (if you're not already) that you will have to cut the solder holding the old covers on and spot solder these onto the pickups. This is a quick and easy job if you're careful. I had no problems installing mine.

This was suppose to fit most humbuckers, But apparently not on burstbucker 3's, hole don't line up. Now gotta go back to Guitar Center.
