Comments about Gibson 2016 Les Paul Studio Faded HP Electric Guitar:

I bought this one day ago...the aluminum custom case it came bundled with is heavy as a boat anchor and has no lock; pretty but useless. The tuner battery was dead on arrival so I haven't played the guitar yet...I called Gibson about the battery and was treated very poorly. A serial number search said mine is #49 in the run...The Guitar Center salesmen were ok to deal with...the Gibson person had a nasty attitude on the phone... I wish I hadn't bought a 339 and 335 a few months ago...the attitude of the Gibson phone call was so bad that this guitar remains in it's case, unplayed, and is being stored underneath the car in the garage. It might be a good guitar but the ownership experience, so far, makes me want to send it to a landfill...and get rid of the other Gibsons I own.

Comments about Gibson 2016 Les Paul Studio Faded HP Electric Guitar:

I purchased this guitar by calling in to the Guitar Center Customer Service Center. The guitar was showing available on line, but call in for price (this specific model/year was not available in my local store). Turns out it was a close-out item, and Customer Service offered a very attractive price to move it out. My overall experience with the Customer Service Rep (Talon - ext 2218) was outstanding. He did everything he could to ensure my call-in buying experience was perfect. He was very thorough with all the details, and a pleasure to work with. The guitar was shipped to the Scottsdale, AZ store - where we unboxed and inspected the guitar. The guitar itself was in mint condition. However, there were a few charger pieces missing for the G-Force Tuning. The in-store folks solved the issue by grabbing some parts from the back (so I wouldn't have to wait to play). Here again, the in-store folks did an outstanding job to ensure my purchase experience was perfect. As well, I visited the store several times before buying this guitar, and each time the store folks have been awesome.

Comments about Gibson 2016 Les Paul Studio Faded HP Electric Guitar:

This guitar has an amazing feel. The sound is awesome. I play it on a JVM410H full stack, DSL40C, Orange micro terra with a one twelve cab and a Fender Champion. Great sounds out all amps. The quality is great. Came out of the box and didn't have to get it set up. If you're looks for an affordable Gibson this is the one.

Comments about Gibson 2016 Les Paul Studio Faded HP Electric Guitar:

I normally never give reviews but I figured I would for this guitar. I am fairly new to guitar as I am self taught for a couple of years so please keep that in mind. I currently own a Ibanez IC-500, a Schecter Diamond Series, and this guitar and I play on a EVH 50150 amp. All of my guitars are significantly different but this one is by far my favorite. Nearly every time I look at products, I never see reviews from a metal/punk rock standpoint unless it's on a ESP guitar. So if you are looking for that type of guitar standard, this probably isn't gonna be for you for the price.

I personally love Gibson and the feel of this thing is amazing! My only issue with it is the automatic tuner. I am not highly educated on guitars but I can tell you that if you are brand new to guitar and you get this then feel free to keep the automatic tuner. If you have experience with tuning, take it off because I have already had to replace parts of it and it looses tuning.

Now as far as the pickups go I personally do not like them at all. I play a lot of "dirty" music with a lot of crunch and I mainly play rhythm. From my experiences of just practicing at home, these pickups give me a lot of feedback and are way better for clean to classic rock. Heavy rock and onwards, to me, just doesn't sound right.

Everything considered, this guitar is great and I am happy with it. It is also extremely easy to customize if that is something you are interested in. I myself am currently customizing it a lot because I absolutely love the old wood look and feel!

I purchased a Red Wine Les Paul Studio in 2005. Great guitar, but I must say Gibson stepped it notch on this HP model! Plays, sounds and looks awesome! The wood rugged look always turns heads!
