Purchased as an upgrade to an older non-branded hi-hat stand. The post was 2-4mm larger in diameter than my stand—I used kraft paper and tape to build up the diameter of my stand and get a snug fit. I wish the actual dimensions were visually listed in the ad, as I am sure I am not the only person looking for Universal up grade parts for their older/generic stands.

This seat does not fit a Tama high hat stand with a 1" OD tube. However, it can be lightly ground down and made to fit with a dremel tool.

Seat is well made. It is a good product but didn't fit my stand. Worked on it to get it to the size needed. Description is not accurate.

Bought this for my daughter's hihat stand. Used older model that didn't have a hat seat. For the price, I gave this one a try. It fit decently. I don't know if all hat stands are somewhat universal, but this one did not fit well on the tube. Had to use duct tape to male it fit the tube smoothly (the seat was too big by about 0.5mm). Put some duct tape at the top of the tube, and now the seat fits in perfectly. As for operation, it works like it should. Maybe they can update the product site with actual measurements so one can see if it will fit without modification.

I bought this hi hat seat to replace an old dinky one i got with an old hi hat stand. Its very sturdy, wont pop off and wont chip or break from hitting the hi hats (the last seat i had combusted while i was playing) and it really has a perfectly formed cup. Ive had this for about 5 months now and its doing great. Its a smart choice to make because its not only sturdy, but its only 5 bucks! im happy i bought this and if you buy this im sure you will be satisfied.
