The base of the stand weighs about 10 lbs and has rectangular ring of a soft material. But if put on a desk, consider using Sorbothane. The counterweight is about 2.5 lbs. You might not need the counterweight for all setups. There is an adapter to fit both sizes of mic holders.

Got these as a portable table pod rig. They work fine and easily hold my re-20 with shock mounts . They stay put and are easily configurable .

I'm sure the quality was the best but I bought it when I really needed it for a drum recording session. I didn't end up using it so I returned it. It was very expensive. #sweepstakes

I took it back because it was too expensive. I'm sure it was a great product but I didn't use it.

Perfect solution for stable and easy to use mic desk stand. Also could be used to record amps, or drum kicks. Very small footprint Only concern a few paint scratches (nothing important)

Just purchased this product and we cannot connect a Shure MV7 with 5/8 threadding to it. I cannot find the specifications of the threading at all on the website. Do you know if the stand is supposed to come with a 5/8 thread adapter?
