Gator's molded hardshell bass case is made of the finest ABS plastic with ultrastrong extruded aluminum valance. The interior is designed to keep your instrument safe with EPS foam creating support for the neck and a thick plush interior that delicately protects the electric bass. The Deluxe Bass Guitar Case also has an interior pocket for accessories and triple plated chrome locking latches. Unique to Gator is a through-bolted system that attaches the exterior plastic to the interior foam, making this case much more rugged than other plastic cases. Additionally, the open cavity design fits right- and left-handed bass guitars.

Great if you need a hardshell!

I bought this hard case when I purchased my Fender Standard J-bass as fender only give you a gig bag. The bass fits very nicely in the case and stays in place even if I ran with the case. The warranty is very good too. The only downside is there is very little space inside to store a strap or any cables. Even a strap on the bass will cause it to not fit as well. Overall if you want more protection then what a gigbag offers for a low-price, look no further.

Good case and value - needs a gear door

This case seems sturdy enough, though like most cases with this type of hinge, I worry if the hinge gets any damage because it's quite thin. Interior is good and holds a typical P shape bass well, though the paraphanalia pocket doesn't have a door with seems like an easy oversight to fix without increasing price.

    I recently traveled to Hawaii with my Michael Kelly Pinnacle 5 bass. And United wouldn't let me put it in the coat closet. They put it under the plane, which meant it got tossed around. Other than a little damage inside to the case,my bass arrived undamaged. Thanks Gator, this case protected my bass very well.

    I purchased this case for my Jackson Concert Series Bass. It fits nicely. Great construction, should last a long time. It does have a lifetime warranty.

    I wanted something better than the gig bag that came with my squire jazz bass it was a perfect fit nice and tight I even have fender quick release strap things on it and they fit in good storage

    This case came damaged with a large crack around the corner. The shipping box had no signs of damage so I believe it was packaged knowing it was broken. I am extremely disappointed with Guitar Center and will not shop online with them again. Read about the service if you want to know more.
