I ordered this guitar sight unseen and I am very happy with it. This was also my 1st G&L. The build quality is on par with my MIM Fender Strat perhaps even better. The humbucker and the MFD bridge are well balanced and bluesy of course. I have a renewed interest in blues because of it. I would recommend this instrument and I will be looking at more G&L guitars for sure.

Former semi pro, home recording enthusiast, former guitar teacher.
Do not get hung up on body being basswood. Every bit as good as many alder bodies I've owned. Nice weight, not too heavy or too light. Well balanced and comfortable to play. The LPB color is so nice, pics don't do justice.
