GAMMA

Description

The GAMMA True Blue TB10G 10” guitar amp speaker is ideal for upgrading amps that deliver up to 30 watts of power at 8 ohms. Its 20-ounce magnet is larger than that of most other small amp speakers, and is essential to the outstanding headroom, clarity and dynamics the speaker delivers, along with ample low-frequency response. The True Blue TB10G is equally at home in delivering aggressive high-gain distortion, transparent cleans or medium-gain distortion, and is a go-to driver for translating tones from your stompboxes or multi-FX and modeling units.

    • Great upgrade for a Super Champ XD or X2

I purchased this to replace the sub-par stock Fender speaker in a Super Champ XD. My first impression was that the construction is robust and solid. Once installed, immediately the low end clarity improved along with the responsiveness and the ability to handle the amp's power without losing fidelity. Alltogether, it's a full-sounding speaker with good mids and lows, and no ice pick in the treble range. It allows the tube breakup of the amp to come through with good articulation. Definitely a good choice for a Super Champ, Princeton, or Pro Jr. I don't think a better value can be found for the quality this speaker delivers. I definitely recommend it.

I bought this as a replacement speaker for a DeArmond Guitar 20 amp that had a very poor quality speaker. The GAMMA increased the tone, volume and sustain so much, without any distortion at peak volume. It can handle everything that this amp puts out. I am very pleased with my selection.

Wow! I put this speaker in my Fender Frontman 25R and it made a huge improvement in sound. More bottom end and high headroom. For this price it's a no brainer. Great clean tones and really improves the gain channel in my opinion. Very pleased.

Is the speaker "surround" supposed to be sticky to the touch? This is the outer lining of the paper speaker. it is often called the rubber foam or paper surround. My speaker surround came very sticky to the touch.
