The Fishman SA220 Solo Performance System Songwriter Pack contains everything you need (minus the guitar) to perform in public. It includes a great-sounding Fishman SA220, an Audio-Technica M4000S dynamic mic, a Gear One 20ft mic cable, a Musician's Gear MS-220 Tripod Mic Stand, and a Musician's Gear 4-Space Microphone Bag.

Fishman SA220
Designed for the singer/songwriter, the SA220 Solo Performance System is a powerful, yet lightweight, system‚ÄĚproviding exceptional sound quality and coverage in a wide variety of venues. 220 watts of clean, lightweight power drive a line array of six custom high-excursion speakers and a soft-dome tweeter. This unique combination delivers incredibly full sound, ultra-wide dispersion, and deeper sonic penetration than the common speaker cabinet. Better yet, the enhanced bass response of the custom-designed speakers means there's no need for a subwoofer.

With the SA220 system, the performer and audience hear exactly the same sound, meaning there's no need for separate wedge monitors or a combo amp backline. The SA220 is voiced for the singer/songwriter, acoustic instruments and vocals are projected with superb depth and clarity.

The ultimate in portability
The SA220 weighs only 25 lb., ships complete with a padded bag equipped with wheels, and includes a rugged speaker stand. Set up takes less than a minute, with only one trip to the car. Plus full-digital universal power means that its amplification system is ready to travel anywhere in the world (compatible with international power systems).

Features that performing musicians demand
Fishman didn't make the SA220 this portable by scaling back on features or tone. It's also equipped with two mic/instrument channels featuring high-quality preamps, each with 3-band EQ, phantom power, built-in reverb, effects loop, and feedback-fighting notch filter, and phase controls. In fact, Fishman included all of the prized elements of the Loudbox family amps and added a unique monitor feature designed to revolutionize an acoustic duo's ability to hear each other on stage.

Audio-Technica M4000S Handheld Dynamic Microphone
The handheld Audio-Technica M4000S dynamic microphone combines professional features and makes a great backup mic. Audio-Technica tailors the M4000S mic's frequency response for crystal-clear vocal reproduction. Great feedback rejection and focused pickup are due to the A-T microphone's unidirectional polar pattern. The M4000S Audio-Technica mic also is equipped with a handy On/Off switch for convenience.

Audio-Technica professional microphone enhancements include a balanced XLR output, and a mic clip. Whether you're on the road, in the studio, or just performing at local gigs. Expect the all-metal Audio-Technica M4000S microphone to provide you with years of trouble-free use.

Gear One Lo-Z Mic Cable 20 Feet
These 20-ft. Lo-Z microphone cables from Gear One have male XLR to female XLR connectors, are flexible, durable, and have a black finish.

Musician's Gear MS-220 Tripod Mic Stand with Fixed Boom
The MS-220 Tripod Microphone Stand has a thread adapter and tubular legs. Its adjustable height from floor to top thread is 35" to 61-7/8". The 30-1/4" fixed boom is not adjustable.

Musician's Gear 4-Space Microphone Bag
The Musicians Gear MF-M4 is a 4-space microphone bag that features 4 padded microphone drops and a slot for a belt pack. The exterior has a large pocket for cables. This microphone bag comes with a comfortable carrying strap and shoulder strap. Made from 600-denier ballistic material for heavy usage.

Can't do without

By Donald Passaro

from Ocala, FL

Comments about Fishman SA220 Solo Performance System Songwriter Pack:

I tried several amps and sound solutions. My Taylor Presentation acoustic guitar and playing are so clear and spectacular it is unbelievable. The packaging makes it more than portable, easy to set up. The clarity and the effects are perfect, the EQ is dead on for about any application instrument or vocal. This one ends my search. Loving it!!!

Comments about Fishman SA220 Solo Performance System Songwriter Pack:

It... Sounds... KILLER!!! I had the Bose L1 Compact briefly before this, and in my opinion, there's just no comparison. The Fishman is BY FAR the better sounding and better buy for the money. It may weigh a bit more than the Bose, but its still only about 35 lbs or so!?!?! It also has a pretty solid EQ, and can be hooked up with another amp (not necessarily another Fishman). The Bose didn't allow for that and had absolutely NO EQ whatsoever! If you're trying to decide between the two, go FISHMAN ALL THE WAY!!!

This thing is the most Amazing piece of equipment I ever bought. It is so much better than it looks . It is Crystal clear, Tone till the cows come home, Reverb's are of superior quality, has every professional Input output you could imagine, sets up in 90 seconds, rugged as can be, NOTHING more portable, even has separate tuner out, sound dispersion in unbelievable too. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO CUBE ON A STICK !!!

Guitar center and Fishman rocks

By roger Pettengill

Comments about Fishman SA220 Solo Performance System Songwriter Pack:

What a great product. My old system which I will not get rid of and will still use for extremely large rooms, outdoor events and dee jaying which is comprised of top of the line Yamaha 15?s and 12? and a powerful mixer. I bought the fishman for use in small rooms. I am a one man band. Acoustic Rainsong guitar, harmonica and vocals. Took delivery this week of the Fishman. Tried it out last night at one of my bigger venues. A place where I didn?t expect to use this system but just had to try it out. Setup in less than 10 minutes. That includes setting up mic, music stand, stool, etc. Filled the large room better than I expected. My fussy soundman ( my wife) said the vocal clarity was amazing. She said the sound in the back of this large hall was almost as loud as in the front. Large place but still under 100 people. Volume set at halfway. Definitely is going to work well in the smaller bars. It is a well thought out piece of equipment. Will work ok for a two or maybe 3 piece gig. But if you are a solo performer like me don?t hesitate on this. It does what it was designed for extremely well. It is worth the money. Way less clumsy than the Bose. In my opinion if you compare the same priced Bose with the Fishman the Fishman wins. But the Bose does make a good product also. But I have become a Fishman fan.

This Fishman SA 220 set up was made for me

from Davis, CA

Comments about Fishman SA220 Solo Performance System Songwriter Pack:

I play in- and outdoor gigs as a guitarist/vocalist and am finding the Fishman SA 220 to be exactly what I need from a PA. I play two Martins on stage: An OMC-16OGTE and a J12-16GT. The Roland unit on the OMC works seamlessly with the Fishman and the sound 'sparkles'. The 12 String is now being refitted with a Fishman under-the- saddle pick-up because the K and K three dot unit howled like crazy at anything other than living room practice-with-the-new-PA volume making the instrument useless for my first few gigs. Turns out that pick up wants to be behind the PA, not in front of it and the Fishman is meant to serve as a monitor as well as PA so it sits behind and off to the side of the performer. The extra goodies (mic, stand, cord and accessories case) were nice toss-ins that I passed on to my college aged son, along with my old Kustom 60 watt amp which I used to enjoy before hearing the Fishman at a GC store. All the descriptive info from Fishman proves to be true: Fast set-up and tear down, good carrying case, easy to use controls and so on. I got a great deal on this package (watch for coupons) and could not be happier, even with the need for a pick-up change.
